00:00Our proposal almost went sideways.
00:03Dallas had planned to propose to me a Christmas Day night.
00:09And he came to see me in Pittsburgh.
00:11And because I had a roommate and he wanted it to be special, he's like, hey, it's the holidays.
00:15Like, let's go get a hotel room downtown.
00:18So far, you're OK with the plan.
00:19Great with it.
00:21Fabulous.
00:21We check in.
00:22We get our keys at the front desk.
00:25The guy's helping us up with our luggage.
00:27I put the key in the door, open the door, and there's music on in our room.
00:33And I'm like, oh, you know, I'm just dancing around thinking, like, maybe it's something fun for the holidays that they had to greet their guests with.
00:41And as they get farther in the room and it's late, I realize the bed is turned down and there's a teddy bear on the bed.
00:47That's also cute.
00:48Maybe you did some for the holidays.
00:50I don't know.
00:51Right.
00:51You're not following.
00:52And as I start to survey the room, I realize that there are beer bottles, empty beer bottles, all under the coffee table.
01:02There's an empty shoe box.
01:04I look in the bathroom and there's beads of water on the shower.
01:08And I look at Dallas and I said, I think they double booked this room.
01:12And he's like, no way.
01:14He's like, I specifically asked for this room.
01:16It's got a great view of the city.
01:18Like, this is the room I like I booked and I was like, well, I don't know.
01:22Maybe we should call down to the front desk.
01:23And at this point, the guy helping us with our luggage is backing out of the room because he is like, he knows what's up.
01:33And I go, OK, before we go downstairs and we try to figure this whole thing out, I at least want to see the view of the room because so clearly there's somebody in here already.
01:40And I go to open the curtains and there is a pair of black polka dot panties flung in the corner.
01:47Oh, that's nice.
01:49And I open the drapes and there is a butt mark and two handprints.
01:54Holy cow.
01:56I cannot make this up.
01:57What hotel was this?
01:58The no-tell motel?
02:00Clearly.
02:01But it's like on the window.
02:03And I'm like, well, somebody's having a great night.
02:06I think this whole thing is hilarious because I have no idea that there's a proposal coming.

02:12Yeah.
02:13And so when did the proposal happen?
02:14He called, he didn't call it off, but he didn't do it that day because he was, he was
02:19like, I can't follow that.
02:20Like that was a disaster.
02:21Right.
02:21So he did it like two days later.
02:22Did you guys end up getting in a different room, obviously?
02:24Yeah.
02:25Actually, the hotel was lovely about it because they knew he was going to propose.
02:30So because all that stuff happened, they put us in the penthouse, like the whole top floor.
02:34We had this like huge dining room.
02:37Oh, that's awesome.
02:38Two bedrooms.
02:38They sent us surf and turf at midnight.
02:40It was amazing.
02:41If they know that they are, that he's proposing and they're all over, how do they screw up
02:45that room like that?
02:46So what they think happened is that somebody who worked for the hotel, who was off that
02:51night, but had key cards like to get in everywhere, used the room thinking that it was not booked.
