00:00Let's play Plead the Fifth with Orlando and the Freak Show on Wild 94.1.
00:14Hooked up by 1-800-ASK-GARY. Now, who's taking the stand?
00:19Navi's strolling up. He ready, though. He ready.
00:22888-429-0941. Slide in on these questions and queries.
00:27We got three in the room. Meredith is clockwise and first on the questions for Dop.
00:33What you got? What you got?
00:35I got a couple here.
00:37You've told stories about being in fights before.
00:41And growing up as a kid, you said you were in several.
00:44I've been in a couple fights.
00:45So I want to know what's the best or worst fight that you've ever been in.
00:50What happened? What led up to it? And why?
00:52The best or the worst?
00:54Yeah, you pick one.
00:55Like, meaning he won or lost?
00:57Sure.
00:59I heard about the one where you lost.
01:00Yeah, I've lost a few fights.
01:04I'm not going to front.
01:06The worst one was probably the first time I got jumped in front of my house growing up in Tampa.
01:17They stole my shoes.
01:18It was for no reason other than my shoes.
01:22I was probably about, I would say I was probably about 12 or 13.
01:26Oh.
01:27And they were probably about 17.
01:29They were driving.
01:32I know that much.
01:33They were driving.
01:34Stopped and jumped out?
01:35Yeah, they stopped, jumped out.
01:37I had a little basketball hoop in front of my house.
01:40I was just shooting hoops, minding my own business, man.
01:42I was just chilling.
01:43Shouldn't have worn no shoes.
01:45They pulled up right in my driveway and hit me a couple times, kicked me a couple times, took my shoes.
01:52What shoes were they?
01:52They were, if I'm not mistaken, they were penny hardaways.
01:57Oh, yeah.
01:58Valuable commodity.
01:59Yeah, you went down for the pennies.
02:01Yeah.
02:01Wow.
02:03Okay.
02:03It also made me not as afraid of a whooping, though.
02:07That's the other side of it.
02:09When you get jumped by four or five people and you're like, okay, I'm okay.
02:14For your shoes.
02:15Wow.
02:16Back when you could just throw hands, nobody was like, you know, they were like shooting you or anything like that.
02:22Right.
02:22With no MMA guys jumping out.
02:24No, none of that.
02:25Is that your best or worst?
02:27That was the worst.
02:27Okay.
02:29It didn't sound like the best.
02:32If you didn't, that's to explain it to you, baby.
02:35The man lost his shoes.
02:37Got beat up while he was playing basketball outside his old house.
02:42Like, that was a delivery ass woman.
02:46You're like, was that a good one?
02:49Just clarifying.
02:50All right, Buck, what you got?
02:53All right, Davi.
02:54So, since we know you are in a relationship.
02:58Okay.
02:58And you're not getting married anytime soon.
03:01Gosh, y'all always got to air him out with that.
03:03What is your favorite all-time memory of being single?
03:09Like before?
03:10Okay.
03:11Yeah.
03:11Single, single.
03:11When you were single, what is your all-time favorite memory?
03:16Oh, my bad.
03:18My bad.
03:19That was a nervous response to it, my bad.
03:22Trigger finger.
03:23Yeah.
03:23One of the, okay, so one of the best ones that comes to mind was, like, I always wanted
03:28to have a threesome.
03:29I always did.
03:31And I think I started a little late in life.
03:34And, um...
03:35How late is that?
03:36Like, in my early 20s.
03:39And it was the two Rachels.
03:42Okay.
03:42The first time I had two chicks was, they were both named Rachel.
03:46And that was one of my best single memories.
03:48It was great.
03:49It was downtown St. Pete.
03:52I can keep going.
03:53You're saying it like it's really important.
03:54It was important to me.
03:55It's an important memory?
03:56It was, yeah, it was something that I, it was on the bucket list that I got to check
04:00off.
04:01And it was just one of those single memories.
04:02Was it after the club or something?
04:04Kind of.
04:05Yeah.
04:05I met him, like, during the club.
04:07So, if somebody is listening this morning and their mom's name is Rachel.
04:11Mmm.
04:12It could be your mom.
04:16Confirmed.
04:18Oh, man.
04:19Mama's talking about you.
04:21Mama.
04:23I know that's a true story because I've heard of the two Rachels before.
04:25I've said it, yeah, yeah.
04:26Like, multiple times.
04:27All of these are true stories.
04:30Wow.
04:31Okay.
04:32Davi, my question is, you've talked about how your girl throws down in the kitchen.
04:38Yes.
04:38You know, and you appreciate that.
04:40I do.
04:40And then, you know, like, and everybody's home life makes it into the show.
04:44Meredith, you know, has Anthony taking the baby to school and this morning and fighting
04:50a rat in the grill.
04:51Unbelievable.
04:52You know, like, it's just everybody got their own skills.
04:55So, I want you to tell everybody out here, what is Davi's skill at the house?
05:02Like, what is your go-to?
05:05What do you do well at the house?
05:08Because your girl cooks well and all that other stuff.
05:10Yeah, what do you bring?
05:11That's her contribution.
05:13What do you contribute at the house?
05:15I'm a bill payer.
05:17The bills get paid.
05:19I make the money and I pay the bills.
05:21I don't complain about it.
05:23I don't brag about it.
05:24I don't look for a pat on the back.
05:25The lights stay on.
05:27And earlier in our relationship, we experimented with the notion of having separate bills and
05:33separate people's names.
05:34But it just so happened those bills were getting paid later and later every time.
05:40And you know what?
05:41They started to discontinue those services tied to those bills, believe it or not.
05:46So, I have developed a unique skill called auto-pay.
05:51And it just gets handled every month.
05:54And it's just the one less thing that we worry about.
05:57So, I just keep the stress less and the bills get paid.
05:59That's what I contribute to a healthy household.
06:01And everything is in Davi's name.
06:02Everything is in my name.
06:04We got a new house coming.
06:06Same setup.
06:07The bills are going to get paid.
06:11So, yeah.
06:12I think I bring a little something to the table.
06:15You know what?
06:15I agree, dog.
06:16I agree.
06:17I think you do bring something to the table.
06:19Davi, if Beasley required you to get the COVID shot, and we all know how you feel about
06:26that, to keep your job, would you get it?
06:29Ooh.
06:30Ooh.
06:31Ooh.
06:31What are they listening to, boy?
06:33You know, they're close.
06:33Because we're vaxxed.
06:35Yeah.
06:35What do I do when I vax?
06:36We're vaxxed.
06:37That means we can still get sick.
06:38That's bad.
06:39Um, I mean, first of all, I don't think that's legal.
06:42But aside from that.
06:44Oh, it's legal.
06:44Is it?
06:45Yeah.
06:45Okay.
06:47Man, that's a tough one.
06:48Um, yeah.
06:49I don't think I would lose my job over that.
06:52I don't think I would.
06:53I wouldn't go out like that.
06:54I depend on this.
06:55Remember the bill payers part?
06:57Remember what I had said back then?
07:01Okay.
07:01Yeah, no, I wouldn't go out like that.
07:03I worked too hard to get here.
07:05I would fight it as long and as far as I could.
07:09We've seen you fight it when emails come in and you just don't answer.
07:12Yeah.
07:13Like, you just skip it for a while.
07:14Right, right.
07:15Yeah, I would fight it.
07:16Hopefully they forget.
07:16I would hold out as long as I could, but I don't think I'd go out like that.
07:19All right, uh, you have a question out of the 727.
07:23Davi, is there an amount?
07:25Now, this is just hypothetical.
07:27Okay.
07:28Is there an amount someone can pay you to walk away from your girl?
07:33Ooh.
07:34If yes, how much?
07:36And they wrote M-O-B.
07:38Which is tattooed on your body.
07:40Yeah.
07:41I mean, and they just said hypothetically, it ain't like it's a real number, but you know.
07:45I don't think so.
07:46There's no number?
07:47Nah, I don't think so.
07:48I don't, I don't think there's a number for that.
07:51That's, that's wrong.
07:53Not even in the billions?
07:54That, that's where it like becomes that like money is the root of all evil.
07:58Like if you're, if you're willing to pass up somebody that you could potentially be with,
08:03you know, for a really long time over a check, I wouldn't, I wouldn't go out like that.
08:06Like $10 million?
08:08I, I'm a firm believer I could make it myself.
08:10So I, uh, I wouldn't, I wouldn't let go of, of my girl for a check.
08:15Nah.
08:16All right.
08:16That's the nicest thing we heard Davi say.
08:18We heard quiet.
08:18You know what's, you know what's funny is everybody out there is like, that's so romantic.
08:23Wait, that bitch is, he ain't married all that years.
08:28I'm not gonna fall for that.
08:29No, but I, I wouldn't, I wouldn't let her go for just, just to get a payday.
08:33Nah.
08:34There you go.
08:34You almost got him.
08:35And then everybody's like, nah, that bitch ain't romantic.
08:39All right, Davi, uh, last question.
08:41You've had your fun with women over the years and you don't hide it.
08:45Tell us your least favorite hookup, one that sticks out in your mind.
08:49Um, I don't want to.
08:52I really don't want to.
08:55What?
08:55I don't want to tell another, I plead, I plead the fifth on this.
08:59That's what you're playing.
09:00Wait, wait, wait, wait.
09:02I gotta save some dignity.
09:05Oh, damn.
09:06I plead the fifth.
09:08I plead the fifth.
09:10Five.
09:11One, two, three, four, five.
09:12She could be listening.
09:14Oh, man.
09:14She's like, oh, the Rachel's was popping.
09:16Yeah, yeah, yeah.
09:17But I get the, like, ugh, the bronze word.
09:19Yeah, I'll save that one for when I don't have a plea.
09:23All right, you got a boomerang.
09:25What you giving back?
09:25Oh, boomerang, boomerang, boomerang.
09:27Um, probably, probably the buck question.
09:34The buck question.
09:35The favorite single memory.
09:37I'll take a memory.
09:39I need a second.
09:41I need a second.
09:41The favorite.
09:42Okay, I got it.
09:43Uh, my favorite single memory was just being able to go out, do whatever I wanted, and
09:52going in private jets and flying to football games, baseball games, and just having a fun
09:58time of my life.
09:59That doesn't sound like a memory.
10:00That sounds like a wish list.
10:02No.
10:03Of a whole bunch of stuff.
10:04Happened, and I miss that.
10:06Okay.
10:07You miss banging for stuff.
10:09Not banging.
10:10Oh, okay.
10:12Just being there.
10:13First of all, if you were, you could, and you can't, so you didn't.
10:19What?
10:20Bang for, I could bang for jet speed.
10:22If you were a girl, if you were a girl and you could do it, don't act like you wouldn't
10:25do the same thing.
10:27Okay.
10:28That's right.
10:28You can look down on me all you want.
10:30That's my answer.
10:31Damn.
10:32All right, my favorite memory.
10:33Anthony's like, she's mine.
10:34My favorite memory of being single.
10:39It's another spring break story.
10:42And it's the first spring break I ever went on.
10:45And I got introduced to this crowd of other guys who, they were the really cool kids in
10:51school.
10:51And they kind of showed me the path.
10:54They showed me the way.
10:56And yeah, I just, you know, lots of girls, lots of beach, lots of drink.
11:03Lots of oil on your body.
11:04Lots of baby oil.
11:06Yeah, that's a lot.
11:08Let's see.
11:09Favorite single memory.
11:11Probably, probably, I was in, I was in England.
11:19England?
11:20Yeah.
11:21I was, I was in London, Howard Park.
11:23And, and I was single.
11:25And I went, I went on a tour run with Wyclef in there.
11:30And was out on stage with him.
11:34And, you know, like, you know, Wilder now, Naomi Campbell was out there on like a Vespa
11:38moped or something.
11:39It was just a whole bunch of stuff.
11:42And I'm dancing around, acting stupid.
11:44And my two-way popped off my belt and fell into the audience.
11:49Oh, no.
11:50And afterwards, Clef was signing autographs.
11:54And this girl came up with my two-way.
11:57And she was like, I think you dropped this.
11:59And I'm like, you know, with the English accent, which I, you know, I was like, oh, my God.
12:03Oh, you lost it.
12:04Say that again, you know.
12:06And so it was just one of the moments where being single in London with a girl who's holding
12:12your two-way.
12:13And Clef looked at me.
12:13I was like, yo, she found it.
12:15And she's like, but I'm not giving it to you.
12:17You tell me where to bring it.
12:18Oh, damn.
12:19And I was like, I'm staying at the Intercontinental.
12:22Yes.
12:22And she brought it.
12:23Yeah.
12:24And brought it.
12:26God bless being single international.
12:28And the funny thing was, she was a transfer student because she went to Florida State.
12:35That was the whole, that was 30 minutes of the first conversation.
12:38I was like, yo, you went, you're from Tallahassee.
12:40She's like, I'm not from Tallahassee.
12:41I go to school at Florida State.
12:43And I'm here on study.
12:45Blah, blah, blah.
12:46That's cool.
12:46Yeah.
12:47So it was crazy.
12:48All right.
12:48Memories.
12:49Wow.
12:49Yeah.
12:50I'm glad I don't have to do that again for a while.
12:51Yeah, for real.
12:52You get to sit that out.
12:53All right.
12:54Well, Davi has officially made it through and is done.
12:57Let's do it.
