00:00Welcome to Bermuda, a small island paradise in the middle of the Atlantic.
00:07Seeing the turquoise waters, it does lift my mood.
00:10Go along the coast, okay? See you up there.
00:14A dedicated police service...
00:17Somebody's going to need to open this door up really quickly.
00:20...is keeping this British Overseas Territory safe.
00:25I think he wears the uniform very well.
00:27Do you want the $20 now?
00:29Officers, including Brits, doing their duty.
00:32It's tough. And it's really humid today.
00:37The reality is that there are challenges.
00:40Crime busting in a place where anything can happen.
00:44I didn't really expect the cows to run out the gate. Uh-oh.
00:49Going to great lengths to catch criminals.
00:54She's gone, gone. She's gone.
00:56Cannot make this up.
00:59With summer tourists arriving in droves.
01:02Woo!
01:03This is peak season for the police.
01:06Listen, mate.
01:07Calm down.
01:08I love policing. It's in my DNA.
01:12It's in Bermuda today.
01:13A jet ski patrol officer pursues posh boats on the water.
01:23If anyone can slow down a bit, it's going to be five bucks, that's all.
01:26No.
01:28Across the island, officers are trying to contain a fire as well as cattle.
01:33I think I'm going to let your cars off by accident.
01:35I just want to get them to go back in though.
01:37And tempers start to rise in the 35 degree heat.
01:40Listen, listen, mate. Listen.
01:42I don't think I bought this, man.
01:43I don't think I bought this, man.
01:44I don't think I bought this.
01:45I don't think I f*** it, man.
01:46A weekly highlight of the Bermudian summer calendar is Harbour Nights in the main city of Hamilton.
02:07Enjoyed by tourists, locals and police officers alike.
02:12Hello.
02:14We are on Front Street where the street is closed off and a lot of activities.
02:20Fun, food, music, dance, the whole works.
02:25Officers Carol Skerritt and Sherry Tucker are helping to show a reassuring and very lively police presence.
02:33Hi, Lavan. Good evening.
02:35Hi.
02:36Hello.
02:37Tell me what you want me to do, ma'am.
02:38We are trying to help this lady assemble a tent here.
02:42But we're having some challenges because we all are short people.
02:46Okay.
02:47You need a tall guy.
02:48I'm too short for this.
02:51Wait.
02:52I'm trying.
02:53I'm struggling here.
02:54Come on.
02:56Come on.
02:58Oh, my gracious.
03:00This is freaking hard.
03:01Yeah.
03:02Hello.
03:03How are you?
03:04Hi.
03:05Hello.
03:06Hello.
03:07How are you?
03:08Hi.
03:09Oh, uh...
03:10Oh, I just say hi even if I don't know him.
03:12Hi.
03:13Come on, these ladies.
03:14They may be in it.
03:15Oh, geez.
03:16Hi.
03:17Hi.
03:18I like to be the center of attraction, as you can see.
03:23Anybody commit any crime during our tour of duty, we have a duty to deal with that and we will arrest them.
03:31If that person is uncontrollably, we will call for assistance.
03:32If that person is uncontrollably, we will call for assistance.
03:36But that person, for sure, you commit a crime, you're going. We're not leaving you.
03:42We are forced to be reckoned with.
03:43We are forced to be reckoned with.
03:44Woman power.
03:45Whoop, whoop.
03:49With thousands in attendance, also on patrol are officers Shandora Burrows and Bryden Pedro.
03:56I think I'm thinking of brain-free shiver shakes.
03:58Sounds pretty good.
03:59How about you, Sam?
04:00I'll do iced tea.
04:01For you today, $15.
04:03$15?
04:04Any other time, it will be $10.
04:07They are Bermudians born and bred.
04:10So, Hava Nights happens through the summertime every Wednesday night.
04:13It's a time where tourists and Bermudeans come.
04:16It's a good spot just to have some fun, relax, even like a nice little date night.
04:20Hava Nights is very family-oriented.
04:23I came here as a kid throughout my teenage years.
04:26Just come and enjoy, get some cotton candy, some great snowballs.
04:29Thank you very much.
04:30No problem.
04:31Have a great one.
04:32I hope you guys have a great night.
04:33Generally, it's a very safe event.
04:35Not much crime really happens at Hava Nights.
04:38It's very calm, relaxed.
04:41You're welcome.
04:42Have a great one, okay?
04:43We just show a police presence, help out persons if need be, and just enjoy our time.
04:48But even in paradise, the police must always be ready for action.
04:53They've received a report of someone taking drugs, right next to where families are enjoying
04:59the event.
05:01The suspect is well known to the police, with a record of strongly resisting arrest.
05:06So first, they must search him for weapons.
05:09Right now we're getting conducted a search when you're on the 315F.
05:12Do you understand?
05:13I think I'm fine.
05:14I want to see you.
05:15I see you make a check.
05:16Listen, that's fine.
05:17We believe you.
05:18So you're going to give that to me.
05:19Yeah.
05:20That's fine.
05:21But we're also going to conduct a further search when you're on the 315F.
05:23Do you understand?
05:24Yeah.
05:25It's just always preparing yourself and aware of your situation and aware of your surroundings,
05:29because a situation could happen in a second.
05:32Chill.
05:33Chill.
05:34The angsty one.
05:35The angsty one.
05:36The angsty one.
05:37The angsty one.
05:38The angsty one.
05:39When something kicks off, you just kick into police officer mode and you do what you need
05:43to do in order to get the job done.
05:45I got nothing, man.
05:46I got nothing.
05:47I got nothing.
05:48Turn it off.
05:4944.
05:50I got nothing, man.
05:51We knew that we could at least sort of corner and contain him there so that there wasn't
05:56as much of a risk to the general public outside on the main street.
06:00An off-duty sergeant, enjoying harbour nights nearby, rushes in to assist.
06:05I got nothing.
06:06I got nothing.
06:07I got nothing.
06:08What's going on?
06:09What's going on?
06:10I got nothing.
06:11I got nothing.
06:12You're under arrest for the suspicion of possession of a controlled drug.
06:15You're not obliged to say anything unless you wish to do so.
06:18Anything you do say, we put in writing and give it in evidence.
06:21Okay.
06:22You're further arrested for obstruction.
06:25Did you get it?
06:29All right.
06:30Chill.
06:31That's my arm.
06:32That's my arm.
06:33Now, officers Brydon and Shandora must get their suspect to their patrol car parked 200
06:38metres away through busy crowds.
06:41I want nothing.
06:42I want nothing.
06:43I want nothing.
06:44The street was already blocked off, and so it was hard to bring our vehicle to us.
06:47That was a main concern of ours, because we knew that as soon as we took them out onto
06:51the street, you don't know what's going through someone's head or what their reaction is going
06:55to be.
06:56Bermuda is policed by almost 400 officers.
07:11Their boss is commissioner of police Darren Simons.
07:15Bermuda is paradise.
07:18They call me biased.
07:22He's led the force for almost three years.
07:26You smell that ocean air.
07:30Not every place has just like a wonderful smell, but Bermuda does.
07:37It may be paradise, but the police force has to deal with more than 3,000 offences each
07:43year.
07:44So, on the very lower end, we're going to have things like shoplifting, theft, drug importation,
07:51drug dealing.
07:52We occasionally experience things like robbery, where there's a bit of violence.
07:57And on the very upper end, you know, we're going to experience gang-related murders.
08:02And you know what?
08:03It's my job to police this island.
08:05You know, I've got a wonderful team of people that are dedicated.
08:09And our role here is to make Bermuda safer.
08:16For Brit Hugo Benzinger, life in Bermuda is a world away from his previous job in the Met
08:22and Kent Police.
08:24If I had to describe Bermuda to somebody, it would be, it's beautiful, very friendly,
08:31and unfortunately a bit expensive.
08:33But the first two easily outweigh the third.
08:36At 6pm, you can be on the beach playing beach volleyball.
08:40And by the weekend, you can have your own little boat and put around a small little beach
08:44in the middle of nowhere.
08:45So you can have that real kind of millionaire's lifestyle without being a millionaire.
08:50You still work really hard, but you're just not stuck in the M25.
08:53Hugo's job is to police the water alongside the Coast Guard.
08:57Today, he's on shift with Officer Matt Powell.
09:00Three jet skis in transit into the Harbour Sound.
09:04Just a quick check out, see what's going on.
09:06Let's go along the coast, okay?
09:08See you up there.
09:09Yep.
09:10Sure.
09:11Take care.
09:16You know, from a policing perspective, the biggest issues really are safety.
09:19So they're out there doing checks to make sure people's vessels are properly equipped,
09:24that they're operating those vessels safely.
09:26They're not drinking and boating and causing accidents.
09:29The nearest landmass to Bermuda is the US, with the island a favourite destination for the seafaring
09:38super rich.
09:40So there's some incredible boats in Bermuda.
09:43Hundreds of feet.
09:44Billionaire vessels.
09:46And that's just a completely different world.
09:49These are the big fisher boats.
09:52And I got them from Florida, places like that.
09:55And as you can see, some of them are 50, 55 foot maybe.
09:59I'd say a couple million dollars.
10:03Crime on the water, there's some boats that are stolen.
10:06There's some boats that are broken into and have things taken from them.
10:09Some people just are doing tickable offences.
10:11So they may, for example, drive at speed, create a wake,
10:14which is just unsettling for other boats.
10:17Keep it five knots as close as possible, thank you.
10:19That's all we're asking, yeah?
10:21Because you get a lot of wake on the other side, other boaters.
10:25He's kind of trying to push a rock uphill, but I mean,
10:28they are slowing down.
10:30But they're often saying they're only on one engine.
10:33And I think that's the minimum they have to do.
10:34They have to go like eight knots.
10:35I think that's the slowest that boat will actually do.
10:38But they do put a lot of money in the country.
10:41And in the tank as well.
10:43Five, six thousand dollars to fill her up.
10:45Are you serious?
10:46Wow.
10:52You can slow down a bit or not?
10:5425 knots, that's all.
10:58Big ten.
10:59Thanks.
11:00Thank you very much, guys.
11:02And Coast Guard Matt has spotted another issue.
11:05He's not even behind the wheel.
11:07There are some boats that have autopilot features,
11:10so it's not an offence to my knowledge,
11:12but just a general rule of thumb,
11:14you should always be behind the wheel.
11:16I don't know.
11:27In the west of the island, Brit officer Jen Souter and Sergeant Caleb John Pierre are midway through a 12-hour shift.
11:35A court summons needs to be delivered.
11:37We need a summons to obviously prove that we've told them that they need to attend court.
11:42Jen has been a police officer in Bermuda for more than two years after, cutting short, a career as a barber.
11:49So I ended up in Bermuda because my parents moved out here.
11:52I wanted a new challenge.
11:54I'd done my previous career for a long time and I wanted to try something new.
11:58It's just the summons I have to serve.
12:01I feel like you could make a difference.
12:04I can use some people skills from my previous job in this one, so it kind of helped.
12:08Pretty much a therapist as a barber as well, so you deal with people's problems there too.
12:13If you don't show up, take on the issue of a warrant.
12:16We don't want warrants, so just come through, yeah?
12:18Yeah, I'll be there.
12:19Alright boss.
12:20Alright, thank you so much Mr. Kem.
12:22All the best.
12:23You know, it's in his best interest to go.
12:24And he can't deny the fact that he hasn't been served it because obviously he signed it, so.
12:28But one thing Officer Jen didn't have to cope with as a barber is the heat.
12:33It's boiling.
12:34Is it?
12:35I'm sweating.
12:36No, sorry.
12:37I'm glistening, not sweat.
12:39The heat definitely can get to you in the summer here.
12:41That's why it's nice to have AC in the cars.
12:43The feeling of getting in the shower after a 12-hour day, especially if you've spent a
12:46lot of time outside, is probably the best feeling of the day.
12:52Officer Jen's shift is about to get even hotter.
12:55She and Sergeant Caleb are responding to an emergency report about a fire on a nearby farm.
13:01It was called in as a controlled burn, meaning they would have gotten permission from the
13:07fire service to do it, but the caller is saying that there is no one in the area.
13:12Clearly the area residents who called believe they've been affected by the toxins from the smoke.
13:19Just last week, Sergeant Caleb went to a similar unattended farm fire.
13:24I mean, you can clearly see there is a fire, but that's blowing out to sea, so it wasn't really affecting area residents.
13:30This time, it's reported the smoke is being blown over nearby houses, so Caleb heads straight back to the same farm.
13:39Entrance is right there.
13:40So watch out for your friends, yeah?
13:49I know, it's for me.
13:50Hello.
13:51Just don't poop.
13:52Don't poop right now.
13:54Where was it last time, around here?
13:56The burn pit is up there.
14:01Mm-mm.
14:04This is the burn pit.
14:05At the moment, you can't see any smoke, no signs of controlled burn.
14:09So we're just going to try and make contact with the person that owns the property.
14:14We got a call regarding a fire at the farm, and some person's complaining about smoke, but we just pulled up.
14:19We don't see any sign of anything.
14:20Were you burning something earlier?
14:23So it's definitely not here, right?
14:25All right.
14:26Respect, thanks.
14:28So they didn't have a fire here.
14:30Sergeant Caleb calls into the base to check out where the farm with the fire might actually be.
14:35Yeah, 10-4.
14:36There was never a fire here at the farm.
14:38I just spoke to the owner.
14:41Yeah, we had the same farm we went to the last time.
14:44That's wrong farm.
14:46Ah, got you farm.
14:47My bad.
14:50I just heard the farm bit.
14:51So this is the wrong location.
14:53The correct farm is seven miles away.
14:56A smaller fire than last week's.
14:58Thankfully, the fire service already has it covered.
15:02So we drove across where that original scene should have been.
15:06Mm-hmm.
15:07Now on the right track to help assist the fire service, they're heading toward another unfortunate delay.
15:14Oh, the cows are about to...
15:16Yeah, that's fine.
15:18The pass?
15:20Stop.
15:21I can get on a moving car, Jen.
15:22Sorry.
15:23I didn't really expect the cows to, like, run out the gate, but they did.
15:27I was driving, so I'm going to say that my sergeant forgot to close it.
15:31No, we forgot to close it.
15:33Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah.
15:36We let them out, so we had to get them back in.
15:47The crystal clear waters of Bermuda is what life living on a paradise island is all about.
15:53People, I think, like to go on the water because it's just an opportunity to disconnect in a way that you can't do on land.
15:59There's 60,000 people in 21 square miles.
16:03You can only go so far to sort of get away.
16:07When you're on the water, it's like Bermuda looks entirely different.
16:12A day on the water almost feels like you're in another world.
16:18Getting on the jet ski is brilliant.
16:20And if my captain says I can get on the jet ski all the time, I'd be made up.
16:25So just checking all the little harbours, making sure everything's fine,
16:31making sure that if there's any boats going out, saying hi to them,
16:34checking where they're going, sure they've got safety equipment.
16:37Officer Yugo and his Coast Guard colleagues need to keep track of who owns what on the water,
16:42so every vessel needs to be registered.
16:45Now, could you see a sticker on that jet ski?
16:47I didn't see one.
16:49Hi there.
16:50Just checking, I couldn't see a decal sticker on your jet ski.
16:53Is it a blue one like this for this year?
16:58OK, so that's an offence.
17:01OK, so all this is this.
17:02It's actually two offences.
17:04One which is not having a boat registered.
17:07I don't know if it is.
17:08And then it's actually not displaying it.
17:10Today I'm just going to give you one ticket.
17:12It's just payable, fine, it's $150.
17:15So on the jet ski, you have the ability to get a lot closer to people.
17:19The focus is really about safety.
17:21Hey guys, how are you doing?
17:23Good.
17:25Is it possible just to, when you see children on the front, like that, just in case they fall in?
17:29That's good, yeah.
17:30Just to pull them in?
17:31Yeah, you bet. Come on, Mark.
17:32Yeah.
17:33You bet.
17:34Just a bit safer, thank you.
17:35Yeah, we only do it when they're gone to the front.
17:36I know, I know, and it's great fun for them.
17:38Thank you guys, have a good one.
17:39Thank you guys, have a good one.
17:41When you're going out, it's about respect and engaging with people, so communities on the water.
17:46You want to have a nice balance between letting people have, you know, good time on the water, enjoying themselves.
17:52But also, boating safety is huge, and nobody wants to have a child injured.
17:56And just having a child at the front of the boat, it's just one of those accidents kind of waiting to happen.
18:01In case they fall in, then the boat's just going to go over them.
18:03Just be careful, Andrew, yeah?
18:04Yeah, yeah, yeah.
18:05Hey, enjoy it.
18:06It's a lovely day, man.
18:07Have a good one.
18:08Have a good one.
18:09Have a good one.
18:11Back in Hamilton at a busy harbour night, officers Shandora and Brydon need to navigate an angry male,
18:17through hundreds of people to their patrol car parked 200 metres away.
18:38And it's proving a challenge.
18:41The thought process was, how can we get him back to our vehicle,
18:44or get him to a spot where we can bring our vehicle safely for everyone?
18:50Luckily, Shandora takes charge of the situation.
18:54Pijos, sidewalk, sidewalk.
18:56I saw that it was the last people on the sidewalk,
18:58so that's why I wanted to get him over to the sidewalk as quickly as possible.
19:03Yeah, show 121, possession of a controlled drug, and obstruction.
19:08You want to avoid the station?
19:09Yeah.
19:10Why, man?
19:11Why don't you want to avoid the car, man?
19:13You want to avoid the station before, man?
19:14I told you.
19:15Almost at their patrol car, the suspect makes one last attempt to make an escape.
19:21I didn't have to make my pockets!
19:22I didn't have to make my pockets, man!
19:24I didn't have to make my pockets, man!
19:26I didn't have to make my pockets, man!
19:28I didn't have to make my pockets, man!
19:29Come on, come on.
19:30Roll off.
19:31Hold on.
19:32Make sure his legs are...
19:34Chill, please!
19:35I didn't have to make my pockets, man!
19:36Chill!
19:37The officers have contained the situation so that everyone, including the suspect, is safe.
19:40All we need you to do is walk to our car.
19:41You're gonna stop.
19:42Can you do that for me?
19:43Can you do that for me?
19:44Can you do that for me?
19:45It's coming through right now.
19:46Can you do that for me?
19:47We're gonna put you in the car and take you to the station.
19:48All right?
19:49You're gonna listen to me.
19:50Are you gonna sit up for me?
19:51We're gonna sit up.
19:52We're gonna sit up.
19:53Okay, good.
19:54This is not a comfortable spot.
19:55It's a position for you, okay?
19:56Why are you in the apartment for me?
19:57I'm sorry.
19:58Chill.
19:59Relax.
20:00Relax.
20:01Relax.
20:02Breathe.
20:03The officers have contained the situation so that everyone, including the suspect, is
20:05safe.
20:06All we need you to do is walk to our car.
20:08You're gonna stop.
20:09Can you do that for me?
20:10It's coming through right now.
20:11Can you do that for me?
20:12We're gonna put you in the car and take you to the station.
20:13All right?
20:14So you're gonna get to the station, all right?
20:16Hey, you're listening to me.
20:18Can you stand up for me?
20:19Yeah.
20:20Can you be calm?
20:21We're gonna sit up.
20:22All right?
20:23Sit up for me.
20:24Francisco, get empty the back seat for us.
20:25Make sure nothing's there, please.
20:26All right.
20:27Did you have shoes?
20:28Go up.
20:29Go up.
20:30Go up.
20:31Relax.
20:32Relax.
20:33Relax.
20:34Relax.
20:35Relax.
20:36Relax.
20:37Relax.
20:38Relax.
20:39Relax.
20:40Relax.
20:41Relax.
20:42Relax.
20:43Relax.
20:44Relax.
20:45Relax.
20:46Relax.
20:47I don't know, but take the station, then.
20:49Finally, the suspect can be transported to custody.
20:52Take the station, then.
20:53Watch your head.
20:54I need you to sit on one side.
20:55Yes.
20:56I'll sit down, I'll sit down.
20:57Stay there.
20:58Stay there, stay there.
20:59All right?
21:00Ultimately, the job in its entirety was very successful.
21:05Everyone was safe.
21:06Unfortunately, my partner, Shandor, her phone screen did get broken and had to get replaced.
21:13But that was the extent of the negative part of it.
21:17I got nothing! Thank you, inspector.
21:19I got nothing!
21:21It may be a job well done, but the officers won't be getting
21:24some peace and quiet any time soon.
21:27What are you talking for, man? What are you talking for?
21:30What are you talking for, man? What are you talking for?
21:43Back on the farm where officers Jen and Caleb mistakenly thought
21:47there was a fire, there are some slightly unusual escapees.
21:52Let's go back in. Let's go back in, guys.
21:55All right, let's go back in.
21:57Uh-oh.
21:58Hey, bruh. I think I'm about to let your cars off by accident.
22:01I just want to get them to go back in, though. They're still around.
22:04I didn't know how compliant cows would be, so I was like,
22:07you know, could I use the car to try and get them?
22:09I don't know. I don't know what was going through my head at the time,
22:11but my sergeant, obviously, has dealt with cows before,
22:14not that I knew.
22:15Come, guys.
22:17They're going back in. They're good like that.
22:20Come on.
22:21I'm just going to get them to go back in. That's fine.
22:24Yeah, I just closed the gate behind me.
22:26The cows listened really well. I was surprised.
22:29Really surprised. Never encountered that before.
22:31Fam, you know man was on all old McDonald's farm, fam.
22:34They listen better than my dogs do.
22:36Cow herding in Bermuda is definitely something
22:39that I've ticked off my list of things to do in life.
22:42Definitely a story to tell.
22:44But cows are good like that.
22:46They tend to respond to human beings,
22:51so you just direct them and they're domesticated animals.
22:54They tend to do what you tell them.
22:55I guess nothing really surprises me anymore.
22:58Seven miles away, a second pair of officers,
23:03Imani Scott and Deshawn Chin,
23:05have been dispatched to the correct farm with the fire.
23:09They've done no city job already. There's no more flames.
23:13Persons of farm property, they are allowed to have a fire
23:16to get rid of any trees or bushes.
23:18However, they have to keep in mind of the close by residents
23:22for the wind direction.
23:24Yeah, so as you can see, you have houses right here behind me.
23:27And if you were to look at the fire,
23:29the smoke is actually travelling directly towards the residents.
23:34Let's keep fire, we can go 17.
23:37The fire service is just using a bit of water
23:40to dose the remaining ashes
23:42so that no further fire can start back up.
23:45Usually they give them a courtesy as to just put the fire out
23:48before any fines or any legal action gets put into place.
23:52Because it's causing a nuisance to neighbours,
23:55that's when it potentially can become a police issue.
23:59An offence might have taken place
24:01if the farmer was burning materials other than trees and bushes
24:05and left unattended.
24:07Well, all the water that's coming from the water truck
24:09will water the plants.
24:11They get a professional opinion from the fire lieutenant.
24:14Well, obviously the neighbours have called and said,
24:16you know, it's a fire and you smell it.
24:18It smells like plastic burning.
24:19It's new and the wrong.
24:20Mm-hm, right.
24:21This may not be the first fire of this type at the farm.
24:25We wouldn't have one occasion to have this here
24:27if it started burning.
24:29Uh-huh.
24:30It's not supposed to be burning like metals
24:31and all sorts of...
24:33That type of...
24:34You're not supposed to burn
24:35small bunches of horticulture.
24:37Uh-huh.
24:38Officer Imani calls the farmer.
24:40Hi, this is Imani, the police officer.
24:43What's up? I'm cool.
24:45I'm going to have to fire lieutenant.
24:47Because the issue is that, one, the items that are being burned
24:50are not supposed to be being burned.
24:52Second of all, there's nobody who is supervising it.
24:55And third, it's causing a nuisance to the neighbours
24:57because somebody's called.
24:58So we have all those matters that need to be addressed.
25:02As the officers on the ground,
25:04they must investigate the matter further.
25:07Meanwhile, unexpectedly free of this task,
25:12officers Jen and Caleb are having a bovine debrief.
25:16We did good, then, really.
25:17Stroke of luck.
25:18We did really good.
25:19So I think I'm going to resign and just become a farmer.
25:21I'm going to put on a lot of business, guys.
25:23You get me?
25:24Well, if only it was that easy to get people
25:26to comply with instructions, right?
25:28Mm-hmm.
25:29Yeah, but if a cow could do it, anybody can, right?
25:31Yeah, you'd like to think so.
25:33You'd like to think so.
25:34We're supposedly more intelligent animals.
25:36All right, so I guess let's head back to the station.
25:38In custody at Hamilton Police Station,
25:52the suspect that officers Brydon and Shandora arrested
25:56has been bailed to appear in court
25:58for possession of a controlled drug and obstruction.
26:03Having to deal with such behaviour is all part of the job.
26:07Using force is never something that you really want to use in the job.
26:10No one wants to get injured,
26:11and you don't really want to injure anyone.
26:13You're there to help protect them
26:15and help protect the rest of the public.
26:17We're trying to tone it back as much as we can
26:19and use the least amount of force possible.
26:22So I guess that's just an example
26:24of just have to be ready for the unexpected at any time.
26:27We're walking through the crowds,
26:28saying hello to everybody, taking pictures with tourists,
26:31and we had to switch to another side of policing immediately.
26:35While they were busy in custody...
26:41Officers Carol and Sherry were getting the better end of the deal
26:44by patrolling the last of the evening's fun at Harbour Nights.
26:48Hello!
26:50Hey!
26:51Hola!
26:52The music sometimes is really nice.
26:53It gets to me, but I stay professional at all times.
26:56I have a dance in my shoe and my toes that can't be visible.
27:02Wonderful place to be.
27:04I'm living my dream.
27:05I always want to be a police.
27:07I love policing.
27:09Welcome.
27:10All right.
27:11Hello, ma'am.
27:13How are you?
27:14You want a picture with us?
27:16I just wanted you.
27:18You wanted me?
27:19Okay.
27:20So can you give somebody a camera
27:22and then let us have a picture together then?
27:24Sure.
27:25Can...
27:28Awesome.
27:29The last time I saw it was at a cricket match...
27:32In Bermuda?
27:33In 1963.
27:341963.
27:35That's the last time you saw my bobby hat.
27:37That's it.
27:38Okay.
27:39Tucker!
27:40Need a picture, please?
27:44For Officer Carol, she was born to do this role.
27:48My father's the police.
27:49My sister's the police.
27:50My brother's the police.
27:51My aunts and uncles are police.
27:53It's in my DNA.
28:00Next time, a tourist is in trouble at the airport.
28:04You're being arrested for the imputation of a control drug.
28:07Whilst officers maintain law and order...
28:10Sir.
28:11...on the city streets.
28:12Don't park it yet, sir.
28:13It's a double yellow line.
28:18Thank you!
28:19Cheers!
28:20Cheers!
28:21Do yourущie!
28:22Yes!
28:23You sound right.

28:27which is the last long time in next step.
