08:42Welcome back to From the South. In the Dominican Republic, authorities report at least 27 people
09:02dead and over 130 injured after a nightclub's roof collapse in Santo Domingo. Local media said hundreds
09:10of people were trapped under the rubble, among them a well-known and merengue singer Ruby Perez,
09:15who was rescued alive from the rubble and taken to a hospital. Authorities also reported that
09:21Monte Cristo Governor Nelson Milagro Cruz was among the deceased in the incident. In this regard,
09:28the Dominican government expressed its condolences to the victims' families and explains that relief
09:33agencies are deployed at the site to provide the necessary assistance and continue the rescue work.
09:40The U.S. Secretary of Defense, Pete Seth, met with President José Raúl Molino at the Presidential
09:56Palace in Paloma City, aims a repeat threat by U.S. President Trump to rotate the Panama Canal.
10:03After the meeting, he says credit the Panamanian President with improving security cooperation
10:10between their nations. The U.S. officials' agenda also includes talks with Local Security Minister
10:15Franga Abrego, in addition to a tour of the Canal facilities. The military chief's visit has been
10:22accompanied by a growing U.S. military presence in the Canal, with cargo planes and helicopters stationed at
10:29the Panama Pacific Airport. In this context, organizations of the Pueblo Unido por la Vida
10:35Allens have called for rallies in the capital to repudiate the visit-qualified President Molino
10:41as a traitor to the homeland due to his horrendous policies.
10:45The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Arwan Ibrahim, said on Tuesday that U.S. tariffs undermined the global
11:00order and urged the country's association of Southeast Asian nations to strengthen trade within the bloc.
11:08While the barrage of tariffs sweeping across the world in fast and furious fashion, we are witnessing
11:22the fraying of the global order. Therefore, ASEAN must rely more on itself. This means strengthening
11:30inter-Asian trade. We must be moved beyond rhetoric to execution.
11:44This Monday in France, a thick cloud of smoke covered much of the sky after a fire broke out
11:50at the recycling centre north of Paris. There were no fatalities in the incident. The fire destroyed the
11:57recycling centre located near the ecclesial gates northeast of the city. The material is stored
12:04at the time of the fire caused a thick cloud of black smoke to spread across the sky. For their part,
12:11the firefighters call all the public not to pass through the affected areas to allow the emergency
12:16services to do their work.
12:37Moving on, the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo has reported the death total from
12:43torrential rains in Kinshasa over the weekends has risen to 33. In a statement, the Congolese Ministry of
12:50Interior also reported that 46 people had been hospitalised and that more than 200 homes had been
12:58flooded after the Njili River overflowed its banks. The climatic phenomenon has caused difficulties for the
13:07inhabitants of the inhabitants of the city such as interruption of the flow of drinking water and the
13:12cutting of electricity in different areas. So far, the authorities have opened four reception
13:18centres in the city where they have received about 300 families.

14:09Welcome back. The United Nations warned of an unprecedented humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip,
14:21aims to torture the food, weather and harsh living conditions caused by Israel's genocidal
14:26offensive in the territory. While Israeli officials affirmed that enough food entered Gaza during the
14:33truth to sustain the territory for a long time, UN spokesperson Stefan Duharic said the claim was
14:39ridiculous and far from reality and stressed the extent of food shortages as true supplies are
14:45running out. In this context, the World Food Programme alert that its supplies to keep kitchen
14:51running in Gaza could be exhausted about as soon as next week. Since breaking the ceasefire in March,
15:00Israel has started its aid blockade on borders while carrying out heavy environments across Gaza,
15:08killing hundreds of people and 40,000 to evacuate.
15:20Due to the closure of Gaza and the lack of flour and bakery shutdowns,
15:24life has become difficult for us and the children.
15:26We can barely manage one meal a day for them. They eat once a day. And I put them to sleep early
15:35because there's no food. As for drinking water, we have no access to any source of clean water,
15:43only on rare occasions, when trucks deliver potable water.
15:46We also entirely lack medicine, medical treatment and hygiene supplies.
15:55The family has no income at all, no one asks about us. If meals from the charity kitchen are available,
16:02we eat, if not, we go without and try to manage. Living in tents is unbearable because of the extreme heat.
16:09Often, I escape to a nearby buildings just to sit in their shade until it cools down,
16:16then return to the tent. That's how we live day after day, searching for water,
16:21searching for food to feed the children, and trying to survive.
16:25Israeli occupation forces mounted overnight riots against the Gaza Strip as a result of
16:37such a genocidal offensive. Some 23 Palestinians lost their lives.
16:41Palestinian rescue teams recovered bodies from the rubble after Israeli forces had hit a house
16:48in their devala town, which killed 11 people, mostly children and women.
16:53Meanwhile, local media reported that the Occupation Army started the Belaya project in northern Gaza,
17:00which claimed seven lives, including a journalist. Since the outside of the Israeli campaign,
17:05in a Palestinian enclave, the Netanyahu administration has as a ladder over 50,750 Palestinians,
17:13while around 115,000 have suffered injuries of all kinds.
17:23In Tel Aviv, thousands of people rallied on Monday for demanding a deal to release captives
17:28as they don't stand to support their government decisions to kill attacks on the Gaza Strip.
17:33Israeli forces tighten up their offensive after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's
17:38U.S. President and U.S. President Trump. In this context, Peter criticized the government's
17:43management and approach to the crisis. In addition, the demonstrators questioned how
17:47the authorities cause bad night while Israeli hostages remain in danger.
17:52foreign minister of Iran Sayyid Abbas Arashi confirmed that indirect talks with U.S. will start until
18:11Saturday in Hamman. The minister stated that the upcoming talks were both in opportunity and test.
18:17Earlier, Deren has referred its readiness to hold these negotiations on a nuclear issue,
18:23in addition to having underscored the peaceful nature of its program. Meanwhile,
18:28U.S. President Donald Trump has informed that there were direct negotiations,
18:32and that he expressed Israel to take part in any deal with Iran.
18:36U.S. President Trump has informed that there was no need to do with Iran.
18:44Our main goal in these talks is obviously to secure the rights of the Iranian people and to
18:48get the sanctions lifted. If the other side genuinely wants to work things out,
18:52I believe that goal is within reach. It really doesn't matter whether the talks are direct or indirect,
18:57right now, we prefer to keep them indirect. We haven't made any agreements to switch to direct
19:01talks because we don't see that as helpful for achieving the goals of the negotiation.
19:06If the other side shows real intent, we believe a deal can definitely be struck.
19:11So, as the saying goes, the ball is in the U.S. court. If they show up in Oman with genuine
19:16willingness, we'll certainly reach a result. Russian State Space Corporation Roscosmos announced on
19:26Tuesday that the Soyuz MS-27 main spacecraft has successfully docked to the International Space
19:34Station. The spacecraft launched from back north of Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on the morning of April
19:43and carried Russian cosmonauts Sergei Rychikov and Alexei Zubrychikov, as well as the NASA astronaut John
19:52Kim. The Soyuz MS-27 traveled under an ultra-short two orbits camp and docked with a model Russian
20:01segment on the International Space Station. The expedition, which constitutes the 73rd long-term
20:08trip to the Orbitata outpost, the EZ returned to Earth on December the 9th.
