00:18Yusri Bakir had been fielded for the by-election.

00:23The leader said the Ustaz was well-suited to the current ground sentiments, especially

00:28in light of dissatisfaction among Malay Muslim voters with the ruling Unity Coalition.

00:35He also said Yusri's status as a respected teacher and Ustaz in the community could work

00:41to his advantage.

00:42However, the leader cautioned that BN's campaign must not overlook non-Malay voters as the

00:48state seat TAPA is a mixed constituency represented by MIC Deputy President M. Saravanan.

00:56Based on 2018 election data, Ayakunin is a mixed seat with a demographic of 58% Malay

01:03voters, 23% Chinese, 14% Indian, and 5% others.
