00:00The aim of this day is to raise awareness and spread awareness for women,
00:12with the message that their cardiovascular risk is not only related to the postmenopausal phase.
00:18That is only a moment, but in an assessment of cardiovascular risk,
00:23it is important to keep in mind, alongside the traditional cardiovascular factors,
00:29such as hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, diabetes, obesity and smoking,
00:34also those peculiar risk factors, therefore specific genres, of the moments of a woman's life,
00:41such as polycystic ovary syndrome, premature menarche, complications related to pregnancy,
00:48hypertension or gestational diabetes, and then those moments in the specific phase,
00:55typical of menopause, which accompanies a process of symptoms, such as the appearance,
01:02the physical modification, then increases the probability of metabolic syndrome,
01:07of the appearance of diabetes, increases cholesterol.
01:11Pregnancies are a very difficult phase for women because they often limit their quality of life,
01:19when they are in large numbers, so our task is to embrace and support women
01:25in their cardiovascular journey throughout their lives,
01:30because the message we are bringing is that the cardiovascular risk is continuous
01:36throughout a woman's life.
