00:08the top stories at this hour. Jordan this morning hanged two Iraqis, including
00:13a female militant, hours after Daesh released a video appearing to show a captured Jordanian
00:18pilot being burnt alive. Jordan had promised an earth-shaking response to the killing of
00:24the pilot Muath al-Qassasba. Sajida al-Rashawi, in her mid-40s, was sentenced to death for
00:30her role in a 2005 suicide bomb attack that killed 60 people.
00:35In Taiwan, rescuers scrambled to reach around 30 people trapped in the wreckage of a passenger
00:40plane which clipped the road bridge and plunged into a river outside Taipei this morning,
00:45leaving at least 11 people dead. Dramatic video footage from the accident showed
00:49the TransAsia ATR turboprop hit the road bridge as it banked side-long towards the water.
