01:20military forces after short-range ballistic missiles were fired at Tel Aviv.
01:25Al Masira, a Houthi media channel, said that Israel, for its part, launched a series of
01:32attacks against Yemen's capital Sanaa and the city of Hodeidah, located in the Houthi-controlled
01:37region of the country.
01:38It also said that strikes on the Al Salef port had killed 9 people, while another person
01:45was injured in the strike on the oil facility.
01:48The Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah, condemned the Israeli regime's aggression
02:02against Yemen, which caused the deaths of at least 9 people.
02:06Through a communique, Hezbollah emphasized that the Israeli attack targeted civilian
02:10installations, including power plants, in violation of all international laws.
02:15Furthermore, the Lebanese resistance movement pointed out that this aggression reflects
02:20the ongoing Zionist brutality and serves as an extension of the open war against the peoples
02:26of the Arab nation, particularly Palestine, Lebanon and Syria.
02:30In this regard, Hezbollah called on the unity of all free nations of the world and the resistance
02:36forces to confront the aggression against the peoples of the region.
02:47Palestinian authorities denounced that Israeli occupation forces have massacred 77 Gastons
02:52and injured 174 others in the last 24 hours in the strip.

03:10Another occupation aggression towards the city of Rafah and Gaza have left six dead
03:15and several injured.
03:17Meanwhile, thousands of people are still messing under the rubble as 90% of the Gaza Strip's
03:22infrastructure has been destroyed.
03:24Moreover, famine made dozens of children and elderly starve to death.
03:30The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that 45,206 Palestinians have been slaughtered
03:37as a result of the Israeli genocidal campaign, enforced since October 2023.
03:48Israeli senior officers quit their jobs and post in the occupation forces while they were
03:54mounting military operations against Palestine, Lebanon, Iran and Syria.
04:00Over 500 active senior officers have deserted, arguing that their retirements are due to
04:06the ongoing conflicts.
04:08The Israeli national press exposed that such crisis has been going on since 2022, where
04:14over 610 officers have been discharged despite the fact that there are economic conditions
04:20for reservists personnel.
04:23In this context, the Israeli occupation forces have shown concern over their attempt to surge
04:28the number of high-level officers, but official sources revealed that they have lost over
04:33800 active and reserve personnel since October 7, 2023, after the current offensive.
04:45In Syria, social organizations and civil youth groups marched to demand a democratic and
04:50civil state in the country.
04:52Demonstrators gathered in Damascus' Umayyad Square, the first of its kind after the fall
04:57of the Assad government, by the ongoing popular movement to build Syria.
05:04The participants called for a civil state, free from military or religious rule.

05:16segments of society and not governments based on narrow religious foundations.

10:52In Argentina, the government authorised this Thursday two office officials to request support
10:56from the armed forces in places they consider of strategic value for the state.
11:02The executive power authorised the Ministers of Defence Luis Petri and of Security Patricia
11:08Bullrich to request support from military personnel from provincial police forces and
11:14from the city of Buenos Aires in situations of internal commotion.
11:18The decree calls into question the defence law, since it does not clearly or explicitly
11:25define what a strategic value objective is.
11:28Therefore, it gives national officials the power to define or redefine this concept.

12:22affected just under 1.3 million people.

14:36and denounced the government's lack of action to come to the aid of the people affected
14:42by the cyclone.
14:44In response to the criticisms, Macron could not detail the supposed measures taken to
14:48solve the crisis in the area and lashed out at the residents, saying that he is not responsible
14:55for the catastrophe.
14:56The French leader indicated to the residents that if they were not part of France, it would
15:01be much worse, as he considers that they are receiving sufficient aid.

16:04Let's see.
16:05Today, we come together to celebrate the extraordinary life and enduring legacy of the Honourable
16:14Asad Anthony Michael.
16:17While the weight of his loss is immeasurable, we stand united in gratitude for a life lived
16:24with purpose, passion and an unyielding commitment to the people of Antigua and Barbuda.
16:31Sister of the late MP Theresa Ann Michael delivered the eulogy at the official funeral
16:36at the Holy Family Cathedral.
16:38Though a somber gathering, it was also a celebration for the man who touched many lives throughout
16:43his over two decades of public service.
16:46A large number of people turned out to pay their final respects, one of whom was family
16:51friend Dr. Leon Errol Court.
16:54His passion for service was fuelled by a deep love for his country.
17:00Through his tireless efforts and immeasurable philanthropic contributions, he left an indelible
17:08mark on the lives he touched.
17:11Former Member of Parliament for St. Philip's South, Lennox Weston, reflected on the life
17:15and service of his student at Sunnyside Primary, who would later become his political comrade.
17:20Asad succeeded in leaving major footprints and a political legacy that will influence
17:26politics for a long time.
17:29According to Weston, Michael's priority remained the people of the St. Peter constituency.
17:34Weston said he possessed a competitive nature, one he used to his advantage during campaigning
17:40and election seasons.
17:42Niece of the former MP, Marissa Michael, an aspiring surgeon, attributes her dedication
17:47and calling to the teachings of her uncle.
17:50She echoed some of his advice that remains etched in her memory.
17:53Uncle Asad ensured I understood the value of service and respect.
18:01Though a silver spoon may have been on my place setting, I learned to serve with it,
18:07whether fetching drinks for guests or helping with hors d'oeuvres.
18:13These lessons of hospitality and humility have shaped both my personal and professional
18:19journey.
18:22I return to the question of who am I, one that has become even more poignant as I interview
18:28for a surgical residency.
18:31When I get asked what makes me unique, I say two things.
18:36My ability to connect with people from all backgrounds and my unwavering dedication to
18:42achieving my goals.
18:45These traits are both a direct reflection of Uncle Asad's influence and to some extent
18:52common personality traits we share.
18:55There was a viewing of the late MP's body at his home in Dry Hill early Thursday morning.
19:00The location where he met his untimely death on November 5, 2024.
19:05Following the funeral service, there was a procession to the St. John's Public Cemetery
19:08for interment.
19:18Several onlookers gathered along the sides of the road as the cortege passed.
19:22At the cemetery, a gun salute and presentation of the flag from the coffin were part of the
19:27solemnity of the occasion.
19:30Greets were laid by officials and members of the family.
19:34The outburst of a riot in the Social Reintegration Center of southeastern Tabasco, Mexico, claimed
19:40at least seven inmates' lives and 10 people injured, including four officers.
19:45Violence and crossfire began at 5 a.m. on Thursday morning when security officers entered
19:50the center to transfer two prison leaders.
19:53In this context, the state public prosecutor's office opened a file to clarify the incident.
19:58In addition to the Tabasco riot, revolts have been staged in several localities of
20:03the state, Villahermosa, where around 10 vehicles were burned down.
20:14This December 20th marks 35 years of the U.S. invasion of Panama to capture General Manuel
20:20Antonio Noriega 35 years ago.
20:23Panama was a laboratory for the most advanced warfare technology designed by the United
20:28States.
20:29The so-called Just Cause operation had the objective of capturing Manuel Antonio Noriega.
20:36As a result, this brought death, especially in poor neighborhoods.
20:39In addition to the human losses, the aggression left thousands of people homeless.
20:44The U.S. troops made no effort to limit themselves to military targets and avoid damage to the
20:49lives and property of the civilian population.
20:58In Cuba, authorities reiterated on Thursday the call for a popular march in front of the
21:03U.S. Embassy to be held on Friday, December 20th, against the blockade.
21:07The march, called by the plenary session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party,
21:13will take place at the end of the session of the National Assembly of People's Power,
21:18with the aim of expressing in front of the U.S. Embassy in Havana the condemnation of
21:23the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by Washington and the permanence of
21:28Cuba on the illegitimate list of countries allegedly supporting terrorism.
