00:00House Secretary General Reginald Velasco cried when their legal department studied the third impeachment complaint filed against Vice President Sara Duterte in the House of Representatives.

00:11As of now, they are still waiting for when this will be resolved, especially since the Congress has already been recessed.

00:22House Secretary General Reginald Velasco formally accepted the third impeachment complaint filed against Vice President Sara Duterte in the House of Representatives.

00:33Among the complainants here are a few groups of parties, lawyers, and other organizations.

00:51Under the complaint, the Vice President was charged with culpable violation of the Constitution, betrayal of public trust, plunder and malversation, bribery, graft and corruption, and other high crimes that he served grounds of complaint.

01:09According to Attorney Amando Virgil Legutan, a lawyer of the complainants, the complaint was based on the hearings of the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability

01:19where it was discovered that the Vice President misused confidential funds and other issues.

01:26The disbursements were not properly done.

01:29The use of fictitious individuals.

01:33We have instances of the same individuals receiving money from the public, but these individuals use different signatures.

01:44So the complainants believe that these disbursements were in fact illegal.

01:48Among the endorsers of the complaint are Nakamarine Sur, 3rd District Representative Gabriel Bordado Jr. and Ambis Owa Partylist Representative Lex Antoni Culada.

01:58Bordado said that his decision was not easy, but this was for the government's accountability.

02:05When House Secretary General Reginald Velasco said that their legal department studied the new complaint well, just like what they did in the first two complaints against the Vice President.

02:16But for now, because the Congress has recessed, they are still waiting for when the complaints will be heard.

02:22VP Duterte was first impeached by the Civic Society Organizations on December 2.

02:29He was followed by another impeachment complaint on December 4, led by the new Allianzang Makabayan from PTV Melalas Moras for Balitang Pambansa.
