00:00I'd love if you could kind of talk about what you feel like this era is about for you in terms of
00:05creatively. Creatively, what this era is for me. I am still building. I'm still creating.
00:14There is a constant need for inspiration. You know, I feel like in a time right now where
00:20the world is in a very weird place, I'm just constantly trying to seek inspiration,
00:28trying to find new ways of telling stories and sharing my experiences through my lens
00:35as an African-American designer. In terms of building a luxury brand, I'm in desperate need
00:41of finding inspiration. I think that right now is the most important time to really inspire.
00:48It's the most important time to really create and dive into creating and giving people something
00:56to be hopeful for and have a sense of optimism. That's where I'm at creatively. Right now,
01:02I'm working on my fall-winter 25 collection, which is scheduled to debut in February.
01:09I just launched my men's collection exclusively available at Saks Fifth Avenue, so I'm really
01:16excited about that. I just left the Puma photo shoot. We just did a Puma campaign,
01:22so I'm doing a small capsule collection with Puma, and we just shot the campaign here in LA.
01:26I got a lot going on creatively, so I'm really excited. There's a lot to be done. There's a
01:31lot happening. Met Gala's coming up. I'm excited to continue my partnership with Samsung. I mean,
01:37all across the board, Laquan Smith is very busy, but I am really thrilled and excited to
01:43continue to, you know, mark my stamp in this world.
