00:00Take a look at some of the standings quickly around Major League Baseball and the American
00:03League East. Jeff said the Yankees did fall to the New York Mets, but they are still in first
00:06place by four games over both the Red Sox and the Blue Jays, followed up by the Rays and the
00:11Orioles here. And again, we just talked about in the previous segment, the Orioles fired their
00:16manager, which maybe they can get a bump, but the manager's not stepping up to the plate and
00:20hitting two and eight in their last 10 games. Certainly not good enough here, but the Red Sox
00:24now winners of one game in a row, along with the Blue Jays and the Rays. Kind of a topsy
00:30turvy East right now, but it seems like the Yankees team to beat still, Tom. Yeah, still
00:34the team to beat, Dave. And I got to say that they're fortunate for where they are. Like
00:39the other teams are just not putting the piece together. We talked about the Sox to start
00:42the season. We like them. The Orioles obviously not performing. And then we're just going to
00:46have this middling action. It's like, okay, the Blue Jays, they play the Sox. They win
00:49two out of three. Then the Red Sox play the Rays. They win two out of three. So there's no
00:52real movement in the standings because they win two, they lose two, they win two, they lose two.
00:55And if the Yankees keep picking up series wins, I think they'll have these teams
00:58kind of at arm's reach for the majority of the season. And they should be in a good spot to hold
01:03down the division.
