00:00A 3-0 loss at Bramall Lane and a 6-0 loss on aggregate for Bristol City saw them dumped out of the play-off semi-final.

00:11It's been a tough year for me and a huge thank you for the lads and everyone around the club for supporting me through it.
00:17I'm ready for a break, I definitely know that, but it's been a fantastic season I think in terms of the progress that's been made from the last 18 months.
00:25And the lads should be proud of that, the staff obviously played a huge part, should be proud of that.
00:29And as should the fans, they've turned up tonight, I thought were terrific on what's a difficult evening, you're coming up here knowing what the challenge is,
00:36but they've still got behind the lads, still singing at the end and from me, from the lads and the staff, a huge thank you for their support throughout the whole season.
00:44Terrific tonight, the voice, the noise, the energy, I think it's a real buzz around the club and it has to be built on.
00:52That was probably the frustrating thing from the first leg, it was almost 20 minutes, 25 minutes, which kind of killed us a little bit coming into tonight.
00:59And then, yeah, tonight was just, you know, when you've got so many missing, you know, it becomes a challenge naturally.
01:05Up against such a strong opposition, so it's one of those, like I said, I don't use the memories.
01:11And Bristol City captain Jason Knight could not hide his disappointment following the full-time whistle.
01:16I think just fresh as it is now, obviously disappointed.
01:23It's not the way he wants to go out, because I was saying over there, we played some good stuff over the two legs, I thought, but we had some substance.
01:30I think both boxes is where the game's won and lost, and I think that's what happened.
01:33And all credit to Sheffield tonight, they're a good team and they deserve to go through.
01:38But I think we're definitely disappointed on how we've gone about it.
01:43Obviously different circumstances in two different games, but overall I think bigger picture in the season.
01:49Super proud of what the lads have done, and especially it's a small group.
01:53We've grinded through it and gotten to the playoffs for the first time in obviously so many years.
01:58So it's a season of real progress, and thank you obviously to the fans, they've been with us from the first whistle to the final whistle.
02:05So thank you to them, we're going to need them again next season.
