00:00Bristol City head coach Liam Manning has spoken of what he described as a fantastic achievement in getting Bristol City into this year's Championship playoffs ahead of their semi-final first leg at home to third place finishers Sheffield United at Ashton Gate on Thursday.
00:17Yeah fantastic achievement you know a huge amount of credit I think to players staff fans for everybody that played their part in in doing it as a collective it was the collective that made it up and so yeah it's obviously been been quite a while so yeah we're delighted that you know we've we've been able to do it special moment obviously a hugely special moment for me to be on there with Isaac um I had to talk him into doing it he asked me in the week if he could do it and I said yes and then it came to it and he nearly bottled it so
00:46got him to do it and it's a special moment that will live with us you know and I'm sure as he gets older it's uh it's something that we'll look back on and you know obviously have a fantastic memory uh to be totally honest I was absolutely exhausted Saturday evening I went back uh had a Chinese and a couple of beers were Hoggy and his family and my family and and and relaxed a little bit and had a simple Sunday uh yeah and then getting ahead on to you know Thursday night.
01:10And Bristol City captain Jason Knight has also previewed the playoff campaign starting with their game at home against Sheffield United at Ashtongate and trying to look forward to what should be a huge occasion for the Robins.
01:28Joy I suppose um it was obviously a big ambition of ours at the start of the season it's it's been a long season um with ups and downs but to get over the line on on sort of the last day
01:40was um was really really good and obviously everyone enjoyed it and we made it tough for ourselves at times but it's about getting over the line and we did that and now we've got two good games to look forward to against Sheffield United.
01:52I think we had to sort of we knew if we won the game we were in so I think that's what the main focus was um and then to go 2-0 down and to come back like we have done a lot this season um especially at home there was a lot of a lot of joy in that as well and then obviously to find out the result on the pitch after was was a great amount of um joy and success of what the season's been like so far.
