01:18You know, like, it bottles up so fast after these rhythm lanes.
01:22If there's one miscue, there's nowhere for anybody to go and just gets all jammed up.
01:27Yeah, and probably one guy gets hung up on the outside,
01:30and you'll probably see somebody,
01:32oh, it looks like he was almost jumped on him on the inside.
01:36But nonetheless, there's nothing you can do.
01:38It's just a racing incident.
01:39And once everybody's bottled up in the beginning,
01:42you take down multiple riders because they're still as close.

01:49Julian Beaumont, here he is aboard the Red Bull KTM.
01:51He was the fastest qualifier.
01:53Looked good earlier today.
01:54And he was fast last week in qualifying practice,
01:57and he, I believe he had the speed to contest with Hayden Deegan for the win in Denver,
02:04but he got a bad start and just never saw himself up front.
02:08However, getting on the podium was an incredible ride and a comeback.
02:11But he's back healthy and ready to go, and he has what it takes.
02:16Yeah, absolutely.
02:17And he was your fastest in qualifier, too, in that second one.

02:21That's it for Jordan Smith.
02:23He gave it a go.

02:25But that injury that he sustained the soft earlier today, too much.

02:40And then when he took that hard impact in Arlington,
02:42it just seemed like he could never kind of get out of that run.

02:48And a very special win in Phoenix giving Triumph its very first Supercross win.

03:03coming off that neck injury, getting better after the year it's been going on,
03:07dealing with the rookie in Drew Adams.
03:10So looking forward to seeing how these guys progress throughout the rest of this race
03:14and also moving into the outdoors as well.
03:18Well, it's great to see, like you were talking about, Drew out here.
03:21He was much better in time qualifying practice earlier today as well.
03:25And just to get that experience, remember he got hurt in the second round that he was racing in.
03:31I think it was second round, second or third round earlier this season.
03:33So great to see him back out here.
03:35He had a great run last week, top ten, great finish.
03:39And I expect him to be a little bit better here tonight, even though it's a showdown.
03:44We bumped into Hayden Deegan a little earlier today.
03:46He had a cheeky smile on his face and he said,
03:48we gave you guys some action last week, didn't I?
03:50He gave us the material, didn't he?
03:54Yeah, he said, thank you, that was very kind.
03:57Deegan, just under two seconds over Bomer, then Cody Shock,
03:59but he's had a little bobble there, and that allows Bomer to get closer.

05:10He was right up behind him, and a couple battles later, he's second.

05:18What a year it's been for him, having some great performances, personal bests, doing a fantastic job.
05:26But this is a guy you've never really heard of.
05:28And in the amateur ranks, like some of the guys that he's racing against, it's always cool to see such a feel-good story.
05:35Got his first podium this year.
05:37That's right.
05:38That career-high mark with that podium was fantastic.
05:43Here's Joe Shimoda on the comeback after that first lap crash.
05:47So, he is pushing as hard as he can on Avery Long.
05:53And it's a good ride by Joe.
05:55And you're probably wondering, like, you've seen Joe, why these guys aren't up in the transfer.
05:59That's because this is basically a main event, RZ.
06:01Like, with all these guys, he's the best of the best.
06:04And it's a six-minute main event, so it's a little bit harder to come up.
06:06So, a good ride by Joe.
06:08Looks like Garrett Marchbank's about three seconds behind him.
06:10Exactly.
06:11So, right behind is the Kawasaki of Garrett Marchbank, who was one of the four riders who went down on that opening.
06:17lap, so let's see if he can bridge that gap to Shimoda and to Long and do something about getting into the main event
06:23without having to go via the LCQ like R.J. Hampshire.
06:27And just to add what you were saying, James, it's like, yeah, this is like a main event.
06:31And, oh, by the way, it's an abbreviated main event because it's that heat race, like you alluded to.
06:37But that's what I love about the showdown.
06:38It's like, you know, main event one, main event two, and then the final later on here this evening.
06:44Yeah, and with that being said, you do not want to go to that last chance because now you're going to ride against guys
06:49you haven't really ridden against that much all year long.
06:51And these guys are holding Joe up, which is bringing Garrett back in this thing.
06:55And Garrett doesn't want to go to last chance as well.
06:58Let's see if Joe can get up the inside.

07:02So, the two AEO PowerSports KTM riders, the teammates Lux Turner and Avery Long are there.
07:07But they're coming under increasing pressure from Honda's Joe Shimoda, Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Garrett Marchbanks.
07:14This is going to be a pressure-packed final lap.

07:19He's wasted some valuable time behind these guys.
