00:00How did tensions between India and Pakistan escalate to this point and what has been the driving force behind it?
00:09Thank you very much. Great to be on your program.
00:11I think the current tensions between India and Pakistan, as we all know, underscore the deep seated sensitivity and volatility inherent in this relationship for over 70 years or so.
00:25The countries have gone to war at least thrice.
00:28They were smaller scale violence or conflict as well.
00:33But in this recent context, this has happened since there was a terrorist attack in the Indian control side of Kashmir a couple of weeks ago.
00:43And since then, India retaliated or India reacted.
00:47And they argued that some of these groups have terror bases in Pakistan, but they have not provided any evidence.
00:54And they opted to go for action within Pakistan.
00:58In the process, some of their fighter aircraft, some of the best fighter aircrafts were shot down by Pakistan.
01:04Reuters say this, others say this.
01:06We don't know whether three or five.
01:07But since then, both sides are using drones to find locations of their anti-aircraft missiles and other stuff.
01:16So it is in that context that yesterday there were Indian drones in Pakistan.
01:21The 30 of those were shot down, Pakistan claims.
01:24And today there's news of some drone strikes or activity in the Indian side.
01:29We have to say this in the Taliban.
01:34All right.
01:34All right.
01:35All right.
01:35All right.
