00:25Alright, let's talk more about your business.

00:28When did you start entering the business industry?

00:32This whole idea started last year when my father bought an ice cream machine and an ice cream cart as well.

00:40Since I was a kid naman, I also dreamt of having my own parlor or something like that,

00:47parang cafe, so gelato was in the way rin.

00:51We started business around two months ago lang rin.

00:54And then, we started out actually with small events like in our temple and in our church.

01:01So you just started this year, right?

01:03Yes.

01:03So how did you conceptualize the business?

01:06It started with my father as a partner cooperative of farmers.

01:10And then, they're scattered all around the Philippines.

01:13So they specialize in different products, in different raw materials.

01:19And so, it started from there.

01:21Pero siyempre, gelato yung business natin.

01:23Hindi ba challenge when it comes to delivering the items?

01:26Kasi siyempre, baka matunaw.

01:28So what do you do?

01:29To combat this, we created two separate mixtures.

01:33One is for our in-store, which is to be consumed immediately, so the melting doesn't matter.

01:39And then, the other mixture is made for takeout, which focuses more on the texture, which also maintains the flavor.

01:47So sa mga kanegosyo natin, bakit ba importante pumasok ang bawat mamamayang Pilipinos sa pagnenegosyo?

01:53Mahirap talaga na you're relying on one source of income because our economy is sometimes good, sometimes bad.

02:03It's not very stable as people think it is.

02:06And additionally, if you have the time of energy and if you can have another source of income, why not?

02:15Mas komfortable ka rin kapag, let's say, you're allowed or you can allow yourself to have one month of break.

02:23Because you have your own separate sort of income, you have your own savings, you have money to rely on.

02:30While, let's say, you're taking a break, mental health or physical health, breaks are really important to everyone, no matter who you are talaga.

02:40Ang pinang selling point talaga namin is that we're purely local.

02:43Even our raw ingredients come directly from the farmers, as well as our additional ingredients like durian, kamote, tableya.

02:52All those are pure Filipino hard work, sweat and blood.

02:56We have unique flavors such as durian, cheesy mote bliss, choco chaos, vanilla vibes, brood awakening, and caramel crave.

03:04Walang masama sa pagiging maliit.

03:07Maliit man ang negosyo mo ngayon, maliit man ang team na meron ka, lalaki din yan basta't magtsatsaga ka lamang.

03:15Yan po ang aral na ibinahagi sa atin ang business owner na si Mr. Wednesday Lau.
