00:00Covid massively changed the way in which we work and some companies that probably just
00:05accelerated it but for others it was a huge huge shift and people really didn't know what was
00:11going on you suddenly left everyone working from home and you know there was a question raised I
00:17think then as to whether or not the office was dead and in the past but evidently as we've seen
00:22there's a massive increase in people coming back but what we're left with at the moment
00:28is a period of huge change and really for a company to make the best and of this change
00:36there needs to be a really careful consideration about how that company works what is the best
00:43working practice for them is that hybrid working or is that predominantly working from the office
00:48but with flexible hours for example I guess as this return to the office and trying to work out
00:53the office spaces is that is that causing a lot of tension between employers and employees
00:57what the survey really showed is that employers are looking at ways to incentivize people to come
01:02back to the office and you know those incentivize that sort of that is by creating a better space in
01:10which to work so you know I think it's looking at creating a much more inviting and all-inclusive
01:16space is it really to do with that configuration of how we can maybe try and keep the benefits we've
01:23had of working from home for employees whilst bringing them back into the office and how are
01:28businesses looking to do that you know one of the drivers of people coming in is because they want to
01:33be with their colleagues but also things like better IT you know quite often at home the IT isn't quite as good
01:41as the IT in the office and you know it's certainly really about sort of creating better benefits in
01:50terms of facilities such as sort of you know showers and gyms and really looking at the wellness
01:56so has COVID forcing people to work from home what have businesses actually learned that they're
02:03trying to bring into their models now now it's creating you know loads of different one-man two-man
02:08three-man pods different areas in which people can go and sit you know if you're having an informal
02:14meeting you'll go and sit in an area with sofas you've also got meeting rooms you've also got the
02:19pods you've also got sort of library spaces quiet spaces making sure that people can't interfere you
02:26you know disturb you when you're in a quiet space
