00:00But just going back to Alcatraz, I mean, does it sound to you like President Trump has put the idea out there to sort of see what people think of it?
00:07Or do you think he's really thought this one through?
00:11Probably somewhere in between.
00:12I mean, I think he's certainly capable of throwing out some trial balloons and saying this is something I've been thinking about, which is how he phrased it when it came out.
00:20But I think you'll see him probably follow up on it.
00:22I mean, he ordered the Secretary of the Interior, the Department of Homeland Security, the Bureau of Prisons, and I think the FBI to all kind of weigh in on the possibility of reopening this facility.
00:34The infrastructure is basically there, although it's been sitting as essentially a tourist destination for like the last 50 years.
00:42But I think it's probably fairly serious that he wants to pursue this.
00:45Again, for the symbolism, being able to tell people this is a central message of law and order in the new administration to reopen a place as infamous or famous as Alcatraz.
