00:00Donald Trump meeting Mark Carney. It was a little bit of a raucous meeting.
00:05I'm not going to lie, when I did watch it, Rawia, the former Bank of England governor, Mark Carney,
00:11he's vowed to stand up to Donald Trump before this face-to-face in the Oval Office.
00:18How did it go?
00:19I think from watching the sort of body language and all the gestures,
00:24it looked like it was a friendly meeting.
00:27We can sort of, you know, compare it to the meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
00:34Definitely not like what happened with Volodymyr Zelensky.
00:38Having said that, I think, well, Mark Carney said repeatedly after he was elected
00:45that he was elected to stand up to President Trump.
00:48I think in a way he did because he reiterated time and again during that meeting in the Oval Office
00:54that Canada is not for sale, it will never be for sale.
00:58And that's what we saw at the end, President Trump commenting, never say never.
01:03So in that sense, he did stand up to him.
01:06But, I mean, we're yet to see what are the outcomes of the negotiations
01:11to reach a deal on tariffs and other issues that are pending between the two countries.
01:17I think they didn't expect a deal on vegetables, it will always be for sale again.
01:29And we're already.
01:33See you next time.
01:34And we've now sat together.
01:35Quite garant of the Thiessen Brigade and Order of strony.
01:39We're still here.
