00:00Well, it's almost unbelievable because it's gone from us homeless living wild on the headlines around Newquay and beyond and then that term begins to be named and I captured it in a book.
00:15And when I wrote that book, it was a present for us, for his birthday, to capture the memory of our time in the past and that's what it was. So for it to have known from that now, to be here, it was very cold, it was hard for me.
00:33And are you pleased with how they've adapted the book into the film?
00:38Are you pleased with how they've adapted the book into the film?
00:42Well, an adaptation is exactly that. It's never going to be a perfect reputation of a new book, but they've caught the essence, they've caught the sense of that landscape, this musical person who knows so well being the third character in the story.
01:09So the whole story is how they interact with this incredible landscape, and we call home.
01:17Yeah. And how do you feel about being on the red carpet?
01:21Someone just said you're on the red carpet, they have to look down.
01:24A little bit strange, I can say, but this is very red.
01:27And you passed through New King, obviously, during your walk, and what do you think of the town now, and what are the differences you see?
01:37Well, New King, New King is a town that's built around the beaches, built around the beaches, and the people are coming to enjoy those beaches, and it's always growing, it's always developing, it's changing, it's never the same one year after the next, it's just like the tide, you're coming in and out.
02:01Yeah, yeah. And are you pleased with how the book is inspiring people to walk the South West Coast Park?
02:07Well, that's wonderful. And if you can tell a little story that inspires a little bit to get out and enjoy these photographs, then it's not enough.
