00:00Let's take a look at the standings.
00:01And if you woke up today like us, you know, it's probably going to be the Astros, Yankees,
00:05you know, one of those power laden teams.
00:07How about the Detroit Tigers?
00:08Best record in the American League at 19 and 12.
00:10You know who's in second right now?
00:12That's the Seattle Mariners at 18 and 12, followed by the Yankees, Guardians, Astros,
00:16and the Boston Red Sox.
00:17The Kansas City Royals at 16 and 15, the last of the teams above 500.
00:21Below 500, that's the Rays, Jays, Twins, Angels, Orioles at 12 and 18.
00:27And there are those Chicago White Sox at 7 and 23.
00:31So looking at the standings, that's how it plays out.
00:33But the odds market, Joe Ranieri, just a little bit different here.
00:36The New York Yankees sit there at a plus 310 price.
00:39The Tigers at a 7 and 1.
00:40The Rangers 7 and 1, followed by the Red Sox 750.
00:43It's early.
00:44We're one month in.
00:45But how about those Tigers and Mariners first place here?
00:49And again, I think through one month, Donnie, I don't think there's a ton of surprises thus far.
00:55Don't forget, Detroit was a very trendy underdog this year, right, to be much better than they were a year ago,
01:02especially with, you know, Scooble leading that rotation there, the way they can hit the ball.
01:08There was a lot of love for the Tigers.
01:10I think the Rangers have underperformed, to say the least, as they certainly aren't hitting
01:15and are dealing with some injuries here.
01:18It's not been a great start for the Rangers.
01:20And the Red Sox, we talked about it earlier.
01:22Red Sox, another one of those trendy picks preseason.
01:27And so far, I think the jury is still out on what the Red Sox ceiling truly is this year.
01:36They got some talent, but are they going to put it together for 162-game season?
01:40I still have my doubts with it.
01:42I still have my doubts with it.
