Do you have concerns that some UK car parks might deliberately make things difficult for drivers just so operators can hand out excessive fines?

00:00I mean I think it can be a bit scummy I think it's like I think they're
00:04overpriced as well you know I think a £20 fine £10 fine would be way more
00:08better I feel like people would be more likely to pay them up I think straight
00:12away rather than you know try and avoid them and obviously with some you know
00:16private places as well you know people tend to avoid paying it because it's a
00:21private company anyways it's not council enforced I think car parks are
00:24ridiculous like they put the other massive car park like a two three hundred
00:27foot square car park and that one little sign in the corner and like a drag just
00:31saying oh yeah by the way if you stay for more than five minutes of parking it's
00:33like it's like 50 60 good fine going up every 10 minutes and they hope that old
00:37people and people that aren't really have access to mobile phones and there's no
00:40like ticket ticket I would call it like ticket dispensers they've got no chance
00:45I think it is just so they could try and arrange people for money
00:47I was in the same situation I was I parked my car in a private car park but I
00:52didn't pay for it just because you don't have to pay for it but there isn't
00:56really much of an incentive and it was quite expensive as well to pay for that
