00:05In doing so, their selection proves what we've known all offseason surrounding the quarterback position in 2025.

00:20and today we're going to discuss why Will Howard to the Steelers confirms Aaron Rodgers as the starting quarterback.
00:27Will Howard is a great story. A guy that transfers from Kansas State to Ohio State,
00:34rallies the team, gets them over the hump, and produces a national championship for the Buckeyes.
00:40He is a great leader, a fiery competitor, a dual threat runner and thrower of the football
00:47who you should love to have in your locker room and on your football team.
00:51He is by no means a starting quarterback in the NFL.
00:56Not this year, not next year, maybe somewhere down the road if he really develops,
01:01but he just does not have elite quarterback traits.
01:04Doesn't have a big arm, he can't throw to every area of the field,
01:08he's not overly accurate or poised or determined, but he is a great locker room guy.
01:14He's the kind of guy where you look up and in 10 years, he's been on a football team the whole time.
01:21He's made a long NFL career.
01:24As far as a starter, that's not the case.
01:27So with the team, passing on Shadur Sanders multiple times,
01:30passing on Jackson Dart in the first round, passing on Jalen Milrow multiple times,
01:36this just proves with this selection that the Steelers are going to have Aaron Rodgers as their starting quarterback.
01:43We heard trickle and little things come out the entire weekend that the Steelers are confident,
01:50that Art Rooney is confident, that the Steelers believe Aaron Rodgers will come,
01:54and there's hope and optimism.
01:56We've known that the whole time.
01:58The Pittsburgh Steelers and Aaron Rodgers will be together come week one of the 2025 NFL season,
02:04and the selection of Will Howard proves that.
