00:00If we know anything about this year's NFL Draft, it's that Round 1 is going to be very unpredictable.
00:06One of the more polarizing classes in recent memory, teams have players graded all over the map.
00:12And that's no different for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who could be in for a big surprise on Night 1.
00:21Hey everyone, Rob Grex of A to Z Sports Pittsburgh, and today we're going to discuss
00:26three potential shocking selections by the Pittsburgh Steelers in Round 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft.
00:34It all starts along the defensive line.
00:36Obviously, you have your key names to watch.
00:39Your Derek Harmons, your Walter Nolans, Kenneth Grants, etc.
00:43But, what if I told you that a commonly mocked Day 2 player could be the Steelers' Round 1 selection?
00:50That's right, Toledo defensive lineman Darius Alexander.
00:54The team has a lot of interest in Alexander.
00:58Not only did they get eyes on him at the Senior Bowl, where he absolutely dominated,
01:03they hosted him to one of their final top 30 visits.
01:07So, for the Steelers, that tends to mean a lot.
01:09If they meet with a player multiple times, they have a serious interest in drafting that player.
01:15And while 21 might be a little rich, there's a real chance that it happens if the board falls a certain way.
01:22Our second option is a running back, and none other than Quinn Sean Judkins of Ohio State.
01:30Judkins is very much a supercharged Najee Harris.
01:34He doesn't have the best vision.
01:36He's not elite behind the line of scrimmage.
01:39But what he is very good at that Najee Harris did not have is hitting home runs.
01:43He ran a 4-4-8 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.
01:48He has home run potential.
01:49He's a big, strong, powerful back.
01:52And while round one is rich, watch for the Steelers and watch for Quinn Sean Judkins.
01:57And finally, of course, we have to address the quarterback position.
02:01All anybody wants to talk about is Shadur Sanders and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
02:05And maybe that happens.
02:07But if it doesn't, and the team feels like they have to go and get a quarterback, look out for Jalen Milrow.
02:14That's right, a dynamic, dual-threat quarterback that has all of the intangibles that the Pittsburgh Steelers covet.
02:22If the board falls a certain way and the Pittsburgh Steelers feel pressed to take a quarterback because of whatever's going on with Aaron Rodgers,
