Hathras: Muslim Workers Removed from Temple Painting Work Following Pahalgam Attack

In a controversial incident in Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh, Muslim workers engaged in painting a temple were removed from the job.

Those responsible for the decision reportedly stated, “Only Hindus were killed in the Pahalgam attack on the basis of religion, so we will not allow Muslims to work here.”

The move has sparked debate and concern over rising communal sentiments in the aftermath of the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where Hindu pilgrims(tourists) and security personnel were targeted.

Authorities have yet to officially respond to the incident.
