In Kalaburagi, Bajrang Dal activists staged protests condemning the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 Hindu tourists. As part of their demonstration, they pasted Pakistani flags on roads and public toilets across key areas like Jagat Circle.

During the protest, two burqa-clad women were seen removing the Pakistani flags from the road. Videos of the incident went viral, leading to online outrage, with many accusing the women of showing "love for Pakistan."

Meanwhile, police detained six Bajrang Dal activists for putting up the flags without permission, citing public safety concerns. City Police Commissioner Dr. Sharanappa S.D. clarified that while protests are a citizen's right, they must remain within legal limits. No formal case has been registered yet.

Police and Intelligence personnel also reached the protest sites and removed the flags as a precautionary measure. Authorities have appealed for peaceful and lawful expressions of protest following the terror attack.
