00:00Hi folks, I was at Bescott earlier today ahead of Walsall's crucial penultimate game against
00:09Accrington Stanley and Walsall opened the stadium up for the supporters to watch an
00:17open training session and after that I headed upstairs to talk to Matt Sadler and Jamie
00:24Jealous, also obviously now entering a crucial juncture in the season and I posed the question
00:29to both Jamie and Matt Sadler regarding how they will approach Saturday with the fact
00:36that two massive games in the promotion race kicking off at 12.30 with Bradford travelling
00:43to leaders Doncaster Rovers and Port Vale travelling to Wimbledon and Jamie Jealous said there will
00:51be no focus paid to matters elsewhere, they can only control what they can control, that
00:59was very much the talk from him, Matt Sadler talked about it being an exciting opportunity,
01:04the sort of occasions Walsall want to be involved in, obviously Walsall's promotion bid, title
01:12bid originally, has been derailed by a dismal run of two wins in 19 games, winless now in
01:1812. One of the topics of discussion was of course Danny Johnson as has been the case a number
01:25of times since he rejoined the club two seasons ago and obviously left out of the squad for
01:31the two games over the Easter weekend and posted on social media his trip to the zoo and Matt
01:38Sadler was asked whether he was aware of that, said he wasn't but said it's within the players'
01:43rights to post what they want on social media and said that the decision was made on Sunday
01:48and that he didn't travel with the squad, only so many players can travel to away games,
01:54it's different with home games. So that was his explanation on that situation and I talked
01:58to him about kind of how he approaches the difficult conversations and he said that he always tries
02:04to be transparent and give a level of honesty, says that he doesn't get it right every time
02:10but that's kind of his approach on those conversations. In terms of team news, Priestley,
02:17Farkerson, Jack Earing and Josh Gordon were all out on the grass during the open training session.
02:23Priestley and Josh Gordon will be available for selection on the weekend, however that's not
02:29the case for Jack Earing. Still not quite ready, Sadler was unwilling to put a time frame on it
02:36but says he hopes he will be pushing for the final game against Crew Alexandra.
