00:00A 31-year-old serial snatch thief has been remanded for six days after being apprehended

00:10Melaka Deputy Police Chief Commissioner Datuk Dhulkairi Mukhtar said the suspect had snatched
00:16an item from a 70-year-old man outside a supermarket around 12.30 p.m. on Wednesday.
00:23Police personnel from the state headquarters and Malim police station spotted the suspect
00:27near the scene and attempted to arrest him, but he fled on a motorcycle.
00:32Several food delivery riders who witnessed the chase pursued and intercepted the suspect,
00:38managing to detain him and hand him over to the police within 30 minutes.
00:42Further investigations linked the suspect to at least five snatch theft cases across the state.
00:48He also tested positive for drugs.
00:50The case is being investigated under Section 392 of the Penal Code for Robbery.
