00:00Hi everybody and welcome to Indigo Moon Film Fest 2024 film reveal. I'm Pat Wright and I'm Jan

00:06Johnson and we're the founders of Indigo Moon Film Fest. We are so excited about this year's

00:12film festival. Not only do we have a great group of films but our opening night film is amazing.

00:18Now we thought we weren't going to be able to top last year's film Black Barbie but I think we may

00:23have found one that's at least as good. The opening night film is, drum roll please, Luther Never Too

00:31Much. This is a heartfelt and joyous tribute to Luther Vandross and his music resonating with

00:38profound emotion. For some it will inspire newfound admiration for Luther while for others it will

00:45transport them to moments when his timeless melodies were the soundtracks to their lives.

00:50Luther premiered at Sundance this year and we are so excited to show it here at Indigo Moon Film Fest.

00:57Every year we get hundreds of great film submissions and this year was no exception.

01:02It's such a challenge for our judges to decide which films will make the cut.

01:07But decide they did. Each film was judged on originality and creativity, direction, writing,

01:14cinematography, performances, production value, pacing, structure, as well as sound.

01:20We combine the scores from all the judges and that's how the films are chosen for the festival.

05:00We have a great festival this year, and many of the films will be shown in our beloved

05:05Cameo Art House Theater.

05:07Remember, all out-of-town filmmakers get a free hotel room, so let us know as soon as

05:11possible if you can attend.
