Getting to Know Sarah Weaver with Team KML

00:00Oh, hello! I am Sarah Weaver, your friendly voice every morning on the big 95.7 KML.

00:13We're on a drive in my new CR-V that I've been testing out over the weekend. It's been

00:18really nice because I have an older CR-V from 2018. This is a 2025 with all the bells and

00:26whistles. I am loving everything about this car. I love that there is a great entertainment

00:32console in the middle. I love that there's heated seats and remote start. I really like

00:39the leather. I have cloth in mine, but I think for me a dream vehicle is just one that is

00:47safe and reliable and that I don't have to do a lot of maintenance on or doesn't require

00:53a lot of maintenance. Like, to this day, I basically take my CR-V in for an oil change

00:59and that's it and I am perfectly happy with that.

01:07Here come the men in black, men in black, galaxy defender. That is not a country song and I

01:16also don't sing that in the car that often. It's just been in my head lately.

01:23I got into radio back when I had to decide what I wanted to go to college for and I decided that

01:34broadcasting was still in the entertainment industry. I wanted to go into the entertainment

01:39industry in some way and so I went to school and I studied television and radio and to be honest,

01:46I just love that I can wear my pajamas to work if I wanted to. I've always loved music, obviously,

01:53and I love that this brings together community, music, fun. We get to open up our hearts and be

02:02vulnerable and just be ourselves on the air and we have a lot of fun doing it, especially Don and I

02:09in the mornings. 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. We are right there helping each other through that early morning

02:15wake up and you're also a big part of that, so we love that.

02:24Roll out of bed, lots of drool on my face that I need to wipe off, maybe brush my teeth if I'm lucky.

02:34I, uh, my morning routine is not great. I try to be good and not drink coffee until I get to the

02:41office, so I wake up around 4 a.m., 4.30 sometimes, roll out of bed, get dressed, brush my hair, brush

02:51my teeth, take care of Mila, get her fed, get her outside, and maybe we'll go for a walk if we have

02:57time and then head on into the office with a big ol' cup of coffee and, uh, once we get to the office,

03:04have the coffee and prepare for the show until we go on at 6.
