00:09Awesome.
00:12Carol of the Bells, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra version.
00:16That was phenomenal, guys.
00:19Outstanding.
00:20We have such unique bands that come out here every year,
00:22and these guys are certainly one of them.
00:23Check out their website at jamesonkelticrock.com.
00:27We're really happy to have them here.
00:29It's a Thursday morning.
00:31We've got a pretty decent day.
00:32It's cold out, but we've got sunshine.
00:34That's a big plus.
00:35And we've got some food waiting here for you.
00:37Deetson Watson is here, so come by and grab some breakfast.
00:39They're serving up some awesome breakfast sandwiches for you.
00:42We've got some piping hot Dunkin' Donuts coffee all morning long
00:45and hot chocolate, so we want to feed you
00:47while you're feeding people who can't feed themselves.
00:50So stop on out here and see us at Xfinity Live.
00:52Let's take a look at traffic.
00:54We've got a few things to do here.
00:55Kat, what's up?
00:56Thank you to Bimbo Bakeries,
00:57the General Building Contractors Association Coors Light
01:00and a Wrigley Beverage White Horse RV Center,
01:03Precision Solutions, and Acme Markets
01:05for helping us at the camp out this year.
01:07We do have an accident on the Schuylkill westbound.
01:09It's jammed from the boulevard to Belmont.
01:10The accident off to the shoulder
01:12and then slows from Conjoc and out to King of Prussia.
01:14Eastbound side slowing 202 into Belmont.
01:17The boulevard to Girard.
01:18Blue Road southbound heavy.
01:19The mid-county tolls to the Schuylkill and then from Route 1 to Media.
01:22Northbound side from McDade to Route 1.
01:24Pennsylvania Turnpike westbound heavy from Ben Salem to Fort Washington.
01:27422 eastbound jams 29 to 23.

01:33Northbound Coles Road to 295.

01:40This traffic report brought to you by New Jersey Transit Police Department.
01:43They remind you we need to work together to keep our transit system safe.
01:46Report suspicious activity to 1-888-TIPS-NJT or text to NJTPD.
01:52Also, thank you to Scully Propane Service Company,
01:55Courtyard Philadelphia South at the Navy Yard,
01:57Comcast Spectacore, Dunkin' Donuts, Xfinity Live, and Mayfair Fence.
02:01And that's your traffic on 93.3 WMMR.
02:03All right, thank you very much, Kathy Yass.
02:07What a job.
02:08What a job.
02:09That's our gal.
02:11That's our gal.
02:12So, a couple things we need to do.
02:15And, man, I keep losing my train of thought.
02:16I have to start writing stuff down.
02:18I'm here.
02:18You have enough written down.
02:19I know.
02:20I jotted down what you said before about the progression.
02:23Is that what you're looking to do?
02:24No, I know we're going to.
02:25I'm going to welcome somebody up.
02:26There was something else I was going to bring up.
02:27Was it maybe this case?
02:28I do need to mention this, right?
02:29Okay, say part of the Bimbo Bakeries USA broadcast,
02:33right here.
02:34Their sponsorship includes this daily donation that they will do
02:36of one of their brands.
02:39And today, it's 42 cases of a variety of Little Bites from Entenmann's.
02:43Man, when my kids, when they were younger, that was, I mean,
02:46it was pretty much all they lived on.
02:49But while we don't collect nonperishable items at Camp Out,
02:53when bulk donations are arranged ahead of time with Phil Abundance,
02:57they will distribute them immediately at their nine fresh-for-all free farmers markets
03:01across the region.
03:02So we thank Bimbo for that.
03:03Do you know what I was stunned to finally realize yesterday is that those boxes of
03:07Entenmann's chocolate chip cookies, those aren't single servings.
03:10No, they're not.
03:11Really?
03:11Apparently, they're for a whole bunch of people.
03:14Oh, my God.
03:14I didn't know that.
03:15Yeah, well, you know, we learn these things while we're here at the Camp Out.
03:18I know what I was originally going to say.
03:19Yes.
03:19The reason we had the whole mess-up of the video on the last break is because
03:22when we decide to do these things, we need to tell the video department
03:26that we're going to do them ahead of time.
03:27Oh.
03:28So.
03:29Listen, we're not big fans of pre-planning.
03:31We are not.
03:32Yeah.
03:32We like to roll, man.
03:34Shoot from the hips, Steve.
03:35Exactly.
03:36We're loose cannons.
03:36Yeah, you know.
03:37It's like lethal weapon.
03:38We've got it set up now.
03:39Oh, yeah.
03:40But before we do that, we are going to welcome one of our friends from Dunkin' Donuts here,
03:43who is one of our main sponsors of the Camp Out for Hunger.
03:46And here's a little stat for you.
03:47Each day at the Camp Out, they bring out 80 gallons of coffee.
03:50Wow.
03:50In the morning alone.
03:52Yes.
03:52For you guys, you caffeinated freaks.
03:55That's pretty awesome.
03:56So let's get Jessica over here now.
03:58We are going to welcome from the integrating, she's the integrated marketing manager, actually.
04:03This is Jessica Weissman from Dunkin' Donuts.
04:05Hello there, Jessica.
04:06Hi.
04:07How are you?
04:08What do you, what you got there?
04:09What's that?
04:11Oh, you can just tell me.
04:12Preston and Steve.
04:13Hold on.
04:13Yes, everybody.
04:14This is Preston and Steve's Camp Out for Hunger Donuts, Preston.
04:18You have the same over there?
04:20I do.
04:21Those look quite lovely, quite tasty.
04:23Excellent.
04:23Thank you, Jessica.
04:25I can't hear Jessica at all.
04:27Isn't that lovely?
04:28There we go.
04:28That's better.
04:29That's better.
04:29Okay.
04:30All right.
04:30Thank you, Jessica.
04:31I'm sorry.
04:31So anyhow, thank you for your support and continued sponsorship of the Camp Out for Hunger.
04:36Of course.
04:36Of course.
04:37No, we love working with you guys.
04:38Thanks for having us today.
04:39Cool.
04:39Our pleasure.
04:40And like I said, 80 gallons of coffee a day for these fine people here.
04:44So that, listen, that's the first thing at the moment we wake up that we need to get.
04:48It's very critical.
04:49And also where it comes in, incredibly important, is the people who are our volunteers are out
04:54there.
04:54It's been especially cold.
04:56For sure.
04:56By about 15 degrees colder than it should be around this time of year.
04:59And they've been availing themselves.
05:01So thank you very much.
05:02And it's an essential part of helping them keep warm.
05:04And that coffee is wonderful.
05:06Oh, good.
05:07It's our pleasure to keep you guys fueled up, all the volunteers and all the listeners.
05:12And the hot chocolate ain't nothing to sneeze at either, which I love.
05:14Sipping is believing.
05:15Sipping is believing.
05:16It's true.
05:16Absolutely.
05:16I'm impressed.
05:17Thanks, guys.
05:17We do what we can.
05:18You had a donation to bring to us?
05:20We do.
05:21Okay.
05:21Yeah.
05:22On behalf of Dunkin' Donuts and all of the franchisees throughout the Philadelphia area,
05:26we are very excited to present you guys today and in full abundance with a donation
05:31of one ton of coffee.
05:33Coffee.
05:34Nice.
05:34That's a lot of coffee.
05:37Coffee.
05:38Now, is it already brewed or grass?
05:40That's right.
05:41Is it in a tank or truck or are you talking about just a...
05:44We're figuring that out.
05:45Okay.
05:46I didn't even think of donating coffee, to be honest.
05:48I don't know why I didn't even consider that.
05:50You know what?
05:51Because we don't think outside of the box.
05:53We don't.
05:53We do things like don't tell the video department we're doing this.
05:55Right.
05:56Right.
05:56Exactly.
05:56That's how we roll.
05:57Excellent.
05:58Well, thank you very much, Jessica.
06:00And we appreciate the continued support.
06:01Yeah.
06:02It is our pleasure.
06:03The Dunkin' Donuts franchisees throughout the region are always dedicated to doing what
06:06they can to fight hunger.
06:07And this was a great way we could give back.
06:09And we're happy to do so.
06:10By the way, does that come with like half a ton of stir sticks?
06:13We'll work on that.
06:14That's a good request.
06:15All right.
06:15Cool.
06:16Jessica Weissman, guys, from Dunkin' Donuts.
06:18Thank you, guys.
06:19Dunkin'.
06:20I should say.
06:20Dunkin'.
06:21Just Dunkin'.
06:21Well, they're making a big transition.
06:22All right.
06:23So, before we do the bizarre file, we need to, we got to, we got to, these guys are freezing.
06:27We got to go outside.
06:29We're going to have to do drop quiz.
06:30So, let's see if Nick can hear me.
06:33Nick, are you out there?
06:34Yeah, still out here, Preston.
06:36Still out here.
06:37All right.
06:37Thank you, Nick.
06:38And you and Dr. Mike are strapped to the can drop ride from Skelly's Amusements?
06:44No, no, no.
06:44They did, undid the seatbelts.
06:46We're just frozen to these seats now.
06:47Oh, okay.
06:48Fair enough.
06:48So, you basically piss-froze yourself into the seat.
06:51Absolutely.
06:52Listen, no, all kidding aside, it is a beautiful day for Camp Out for Hunger.
06:55We kind of like it when it's this cold.
06:57There's not a cloud in the sky.
06:59It's a perfect day to come down and donate.
07:00I love when people are pulling into the parking lot here at the Wells Fargo Center, driving by,
07:04seeing the can drop for the first time, seeing the Ferris wheel from Skelly,
07:07and we're ready to rock.
07:08So, whenever you guys are good to go.
07:09Oh, by the way, I'm up to three I love yous from Dr. Mike.
07:12Oh, already?
07:13Yeah.
07:13Hey, Steve.
07:14Yes?
07:15Let's light this candle.
07:18Let's light this candle.
07:20Straight from the right stuff.
07:21I love it.
07:22By the way, we're watching the video, and if you're streaming online,
07:24the guy sitting to Nick's left, if we're facing that, is Brian, our photographer.
07:28So, if you're curious, the two on the right are, of course, Nick and Dr. Mike.
07:32So, the way this works, let me bring people up to speed.
07:34If you haven't heard this before, maybe you have.
07:36We've done it a few times.
07:37Drop quiz.
07:37I've got some very simple, basic trivia questions.
07:40As they are on their way up, I will ask the questions.
07:44If you know the answer to the question, just shout it out.
07:46Say it.
07:47We will award you a point for each question, and we'll also put a total of poundage of food
07:52from Bimbo Bakeries, who are sponsoring the Camp Out for Hunger Games, to that at the end of this.
07:57Now, of course, the ride goes up.
07:59You can't see how high it's going, and you don't know when it's going to end,
08:02and you're going to drop and free fall, and that is when the quiz is over.
08:04But you don't know when it's going to happen, and that's what makes it so difficult to do this.
08:08Yes, yes.
08:09So, do you think you guys are ready for this?
08:10Yes.
08:11It's going to be pretty even.
08:12What's that?
08:13I think it's going to be pretty even.
08:14Mike and I both went to college for seven and a half years.
08:18All right.
08:19Well, let's light this candle.
08:21Start it up.
08:21Let me know when you guys are moving, Nick.
08:23Okay.
08:23We are not yet moving, Preston.
08:25The permission to relieve bladder.
08:29We're going.

09:41Oh, my balls.
09:42Oh, my God.
09:43Hold on with the balls thing for a second.
09:45All right.
09:46I'm going to mention an engineering thing.
09:48Guys, as they go up, angle the antenna towards them, and they will not lose the signal.
09:52All right.
09:53There we go.
09:53So, what's the score so far, Kathy?
09:55Because we're going to do it again.
09:55Or Casey, you keeping score?
09:57Yeah.
09:57Both of us.
09:58Are you keeping score, too?
09:59No.

10:06Here's your chance to come back from behind.
10:08All right.
10:08I'm going to count again.
10:09Yes.
10:09It's 4-2, Nick.
10:10So, I'm winning, even though I lost the signal halfway up.
10:13Yes.
10:13Yeah.
10:13Wow, man.
10:14I am smarter than you.
10:15Okay.
10:16Let me know when the ride is engaged, and we're ready to do it again.
10:19And as soon as you start moving, Nick, tell me, and I'll begin the questioning.
10:23All right.
10:23Skelly, we're ready to go whenever you guys are, so you can start.
10:25By the way.
10:26There we go.

11:41You want to do it again?
11:42Yeah.
11:42One more.
11:43It's a tie.
11:45All right.
11:45Now, you know, for the food count, we got to make sure.
11:48Casey's waving it off.
11:49We don't have time.
11:50Oh, we can't do it.
11:50We got to do the City Six Challenge, so I knew.
11:53Oh.
11:53I'm sorry.
11:54I'm sorry.
11:54But our coaches have a tight schedule.
11:56So we got to do it.
11:57All right.
11:57Casey, what's the final score?
11:59Even though we gave two points for Mike.
12:01Yeah.
12:01I have to answer.
12:03Nick wins nine to six.
12:06Wow.
12:07Nine to six.
12:07Very impressive.
12:08All right.
12:09But you know what?
12:09We're going to award 100 pounds per point, and that's 1,500 pounds from Bimbo Bakery's
12:16USA for the Camp Out for Hunger food.
12:19So you guys did great.
12:20Well done, guys.
12:21Dr. Mike, we love you.
12:22Love you guys.
12:23Love you.
12:24All right.
12:24We're going to lose their audio from outside, and let's do a quick bizarre file because we
12:29got to move along for the City Six Challenge that's coming up.
12:31So, Jason, when you're ready, please.
12:32Now, WMMR presents Kristen and Steve's Bizarre File.
12:40Somebody texted in.
12:42I didn't even think of this.
12:42We put the two loudest people in the world on that ride together.
12:47I didn't even think about that.
12:49All right.
12:50The B-File this morning is brought to you by Heritage Business Systems.
12:53The document imaging equipment solution is Heritage Business Systems Service, Satisfaction,
12:57Reliability.
12:57That's Heritage Business Systems, your authorized cannon copier dealer.
13:01Well, passing gas in public is often embarrassing, but for a Dania Beach woman, doing so while
13:07waiting in line at a Dollar General store led to her arrest on a charge of aggravated assault
13:12with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
13:15So it was literally an SBD?
13:17Yeah, kind of like that.
13:19Well, listen to what she did, though.
13:20It's what police say she did after a man in line complained about the act that led to
13:25the charge.
13:25But Shanetta Yvette Wilson was in the checkout line at the Dollar General store on Sunday
13:31evening.
13:31John Walker, the customer standing next door, got into a verbal dispute in reference to
13:35the defendant farting loudly, according to the affidavit.
13:39Well, Wilson allegedly pulled out a lock-back knife from her purse, opened the knife, and
13:44told the victim that she was going to gut him.
13:46Jesus!
13:49For complaining that he farted too loud.
13:50She farted too loud.
13:52I'm going to gut him.
13:53While doing so, she pulled back her right hand with the knife as if she was going to
13:56attack the victim with it.
13:58Walker was in fear that he was going to get stabbed by the defendant.
14:01After the police were called, Wilson was found by deputies and identified by Walker,
14:05and Wilson was arrested.
14:08Two conservation officers were forced into a marathon tag team wrestling match with a deer
14:13that broke through a window and got trapped in the basement.
14:17Officer Kip Duncan said, I was so physically exhausted, I thought I was going to throw up.
14:24How did it get into the basement?
14:26Well, it just went through a window.
14:27The 30-minute battle with this doe trapped in the basement raged on.
14:32The young doe jumped on the washing machine and dryer flopped into the laundry tub and then
14:37pranced on the homeowner's pool table during the whole ordeal.
14:40Jesus.
14:40Yeah.
14:40The initial goal was to get the deer through a makeshift furniture causeway up the stairs
14:45and out of the door, but that didn't work.
14:48Duncan said, I guess deer don't have stairs in the wild.
14:51The officer finally tackled the panic-stricken deer, wrapped it in a rug, and hoisted it outside
14:55to freedom.
14:56Duncan, a game warden for more than 18 years, was working alongside an officer's candidate,
15:01Leah Campa, who was in the final stage of her field training.
15:04It's miraculous the thing didn't break its legs.
15:06They were patrolling.
15:08When a late afternoon call came in, a deer had charged through a ground-level window in
15:11the basement.
15:12No one knows why it ran the glass.
15:13It may have seen its own reflection and were startled.
15:15Yeah.
15:15After the furniture pathway and tackles failed, Duncan restrained the animal with one arm
15:19and reached for a large area rug with the other.
15:21He draped it over the deer, and Campa saved the day by helping to tie up the animal's legs.
15:26They did see some blood after they let the animal go, but they said it didn't look like
15:29it was injured badly and everything along those lines.
15:32That's wild.
15:32All right.
15:32We have time for just one more, and then we will wrap it up.
15:36Let's go with this one.
15:38Police were approached by a woman on Tuesday afternoon who says that she's the source of
15:42blood and signs of childbirth discovered in a public park.
15:45Jeez.
15:46Wow.
15:46Police have been...
15:46Well, this is what happened.
15:47The police have been searching for a mother and child in the park for nearly 24 hours after
15:51a passerby walking their dog in the area on Monday reported finding blood, forceps, and other
15:56evidence that could indicate that someone had given birth there.
15:58In the park?
15:59Yeah.
15:59A 27-year-old woman...
16:01It's got a twist to it.
16:02Okay.
16:03A 27-year-old woman contacted police Tuesday after seeing the media coverage about the search
16:07operation.
16:08She explained that she had given birth to the baby with a midwife present about a year
16:13ago at her previous home.
16:15She then bundled the umbilical cord, placenta, forceps, bandages, and gloves together and put
16:20them in the freezer to preserve them.
16:22A year later, she decided it was time to return them to nature for holistic reasons.
16:27Oh, my God.
16:28Investigators spoke with the midwife and confirmed the woman's...
16:31It's a biohazard.
16:32Yeah, yeah.
16:33Police spent the night and a better part of a day searching the park, which is a broad-wooded
16:38spot in a largely residential area.
16:40They canvass the area with canine units and drones in hopes of finding witnesses or even
16:45video footage that could have identified the locale of the...
16:48They're looking for a baby.
16:49Yeah.
16:49Yeah.
16:50And there you go.
16:51That is what I have in the Bizarre File.
16:53That's a messed up story, isn't it?
16:54Very messed up.
16:55All right.
16:56With that, we are going to take another break.
