01:14good afternoon well that's the question we've actually been trying to track down
01:20uh the contractor responsible uh middlesex water company saying uh that it wasn't them and elizabeth
01:26gas elizabeth pound gas rather actually just got back to us and said they they did not have any
01:31crews working in edison yesterday but the good news is a new pipe has been laid and at this point
01:38uh the cleanup continues
01:41shingles were flying off the 30 inch main break that sent water gushing into the air and on top of
01:49this home pretty wild they like a hurricane force water hitting on the house is now fixed according
01:57to officials contractors worked on it for hours shutting down part of woodbrook drive in edison
02:03we're told crews working here hit the line around four o'clock monday afternoon middlesex water company
02:09operates the line but we're told it wasn't their contractors who dug into the main look at the
02:14flags in the ground indicate contractors from gas and cable companies were working in the area there was
02:21some cable workers are doing digging the hole from one side of the road to other side a woman who lives in
02:29a damaged home too overwhelmed to talk on camera says she was not home at the time the line ruptured
02:35a neighbor offered her a temporary place to stay after she was forced to evacuate the mayor says the
02:42damaged transmission line does not supply residents so water service and customers was not affected
02:47residents breathing a sigh of relief the impact was not extensive it's an accident so we have to accept it
