00:10We got Cassidy on the phone today for Military Monday and she's going to tell us about her friend Jason.
00:16Good morning, Cassidy. How you doing?
00:17I'm good. How are you guys?
00:19We're doing great. So let's talk about Jason. First of all, how long have you guys been friends?
00:22I'm going about two years now.
00:24Two years. Okay. And tell us how he has served our country.
00:28He was in the Coast Guard for a little over 20 years. He's been retired a little over a year now.
00:36Okay. Gotcha. So he made a career out of this.
00:39Yes.
00:39All right. And is he working now?
00:41He actually DJs at Cowboys Dance Hall on Sundays and he does DJ for karaoke at some other places too throughout the week.
00:50Enough said. Let's bring him in. We got to have him. Got to have him in. This guy's awesome.
00:54He's also known as DJ Good Time. I have to throw his nickname in there.
00:59I like that. Looking for a good time.
01:04All right, Cassidy. So, you know, he served in our Coast Guard for over 20 years.
01:08Obviously, feeling that calling to go into the Coast Guard. Do you know why he chose the Coast Guard?
01:14I don't know particularly, but I do know Jason is a very caring man and he's very giving. He will give you the shirt off his back.
01:24Oh, I love that you're doing this for your friend. I mean, it's a, you know, that's an honor.
01:29So what else does Jason like to do besides DJ, listen to country music and serve our country?
01:34He is an amazing father. He has two little girls and he was really looking forward to his retirement because retiring gave him the more time at home with that.
