00:06Yeah, in high school, somebody was using my pictures, and I went back to try to find the messages,
00:15because it's actually kind of funny, but Facebook only goes 10 years.

00:25Somebody had stolen your photos and was catfishing someone else.

00:29Yes. So this was in the transition from MySpace to Facebook.
00:37This was when we had both, right?
00:39So MySpace or Facebook felt a lot more personal, right?
00:43Like you're uploading more things onto Facebook.
00:48You're in more tagged photos on Facebook.
00:51So if you have a Facebook, chances are you're real.
00:55But you can, you know what I mean?
00:56Like you could have a MySpace of like just a couple of profile pictures and it'd be what it was.
01:01So I get this Facebook message from this girl.
01:06I was probably 11th grade, 10th, 11th grade.
01:09And she's like, hey, I just want you to know that what you're doing is really sick.
01:15Like you should delete your profile.
01:17And I'm like, huh?
01:18Whoa.
01:18And she's like, I know you're not the real Nicole.
01:20I'm dating the real Nicole.
01:22And I just think you should delete your profile.
01:25And I said, well, I don't know what to tell you because I'm Nicole.
01:29So I don't know who you think like.
01:33You're dating.
01:34Right.
01:34And like.
01:34Isn't that weird?
01:35She thought that Nicole was the catfisher.
01:37Yeah.
01:38But Nicole's the real Nicole.
01:39Yeah.
01:39And I'm like, I'm like, this is Facebook.
01:41Like you can see these tagged photos of me.
01:44Yeah.
01:44Like I was like.
01:45And so she went through this.
01:47Like, I don't know how we got to the resolution, but we did.
01:52And it turned.
01:54And then I found out who it was.
01:56And was it someone you knew?
01:57Yeah.
01:57It was someone in my high school.
01:58And I mean, it was it was.
02:01I have empathy now, but at the time I was I was fire.

02:10But did you also know the person who was telling you that you were the catfisher?

02:18Like, I don't think that was a Raleigh situation.
02:20That person went on to be a linebacker at Notre Dame by the name of Monte Teo.
