00:00Well, 94.1 Nabay's Party Station, I am very honored because she is doing my lifelong dream.
00:07I've always wanted to be an actress.
00:10Miss Actress, a really good actress, introduce yourself to the Tampa Bay area.
00:14Thank you so much, my love. My name is Raina Love.
00:18Now, are you from Florida?
00:20Yes, born and raised, County of Dane, Miami, Florida.
00:23I am a big fan of Secret Society 1 that was out,
00:27and now we got Secret Society 2 that's coming out. When?
00:30Yes, July 29th on Amazon Prime.
00:34Now, the first movie was very interesting, messy.
00:39There was a lot of twists and turns. The plot was lit.
00:43What can we expect from Secret Society 2?
00:46Let's just say it's going to be epic.
00:49Let's just add more icing on top of part one.
00:53You know, we have, from the cast, we have Erica Pinkett, who's returning.
00:58We have Adasia, she's like my new sis, and co-star.
01:03Jeremy Meeks, Blac Chyna, Trina, the list goes on.
01:07We have a lot of new faces, so you guys are really going to want to hop on this ride.
01:11Now, I've never got a chance to ask you, what was the audition process getting this role?
01:17Was it hard? Was it a long one?
01:19Did you know that you got it when you first walked in there?
01:21Oh, my gosh. I remember, and it's so crazy, because when I first got the script to audition for it,
01:28it was during COVID. It was storming in Miami. It was like a hurricane outside.
01:33I had the kids and the dog barking in the house, and I'm like, I can't, there's no quiet place.
01:37Wait, you got kids?
01:38I have two babies.
01:39Girl, where?
01:40I try. I don't eat. I don't breathe.
01:43But, yeah, so I'm like, where do I go? The studios are closed.
01:47I have no really plain backdrop or nothing in the house, so I go in my garage, and, you know, manifestation is everything.
01:54Prayer is everything, so work with what you have is what I say.
01:58So I was in my garage, and my garage had everything from an empty fish tank to boxes to clothes to everything that you can think of piled on top of each other.
02:07And I'm like, you know what? If it's for me, they're going to see my talent past everything that's behind me.
02:13So I literally was in my garage, and I did my audition, and I submitted it, and they liked it, and then they asked me to do it again.
02:21And in the midst of me doing the audition again, I'm reading the script, and I'm like, uh-uh, what's going to happen next?
02:27I want to know, sis!
02:28Yes! So, yeah, I ended up nailing it and being casted for the lead role, Celeste, which was a huge blessing, you know?
02:37Definitely a huge blessing.
02:38The movie touches on a lot of stuff that is going on right now in our, like, the climate that we're in.
02:45And I don't want to give away too much, but...
02:48We can touch some topics, you know, part one is out, but as far as part two, you know, we want to keep the little secrets to ourselves.
02:55Now, the feedback that you got off of part one, how was that?
02:58Did you get a lot of people that were like, uh...
03:01Did you get a lot of people that were like, you talking about too much that happens in that secret society?
03:05Um, no, actually, we got thank you for shedding light on our community.
03:11We respect you. You know, everybody's story is different, so we're not really directing the light on everybody's story.
03:18We're just saying this is everybody's life, you know?
03:20We respect the LGBT community, so it's not like, you know, we're trying to put this image on them.
03:28We were telling a story.
03:29Miyasha Coleman, she's like, oh my God, she's like, obviously, you know, my favorite author now, you know?
03:37And she did her research.
03:39She interviewed transgender women, and she just really killed it.
03:45She nailed it, and I did my best to step into my character's shoes and execute it so everybody can be able to relate to the character and also sympathize with her story.
03:55You know, kind of open up everybody's third eye, because people just tend to be very judgmental in this generation.
04:02And it's not all peaches and cream.
04:03You know, I believe we all deserve love.
04:05We all deserve to be wanted and accepted for who we are.
04:08And, you know, she nailed it.
04:11Yeah, and, you know, I don't fault dudes for being attracted to trans women, because they're women.
04:16They're bad.
04:16And they're very beautiful.
04:18Yes.
04:19Chariot.
04:20There's one named Akasha, Miss Akasha Bentley from Tampa Bay.
04:24Nikita Dragon.
04:26Nikita Dragon.
04:26Who will be in part two.
04:28Okay.
04:29You know, she's one of my faves.
04:31Then you have Amaya Scott.
04:33Listen, these ladies are slaying it.
04:35And me being a woman, I'm like, oh, my, where do they get their hair from?
04:39Where do they get that outfit?
04:40Where do they get those shoes?
04:41Right.
04:42So, Miasha just literally, I don't know how she did it, but with the grace of God and her talent, she put it all together.
04:48And not only that, with Miasha, you know, being a black woman in this industry, especially being a woman, it's hard.
04:55So, for her to succeed and it being an independent film that she, you know, funded herself, I take my hat off to her.
05:02And I thank her so much for even giving me the role of Celeste.
05:06Love it.
05:07Now, one last question.
05:08Yes.
05:08Who is your favorite to work with on the second movie?
05:12Like, out of Jeremy Meeks, who is fine.
05:14I'm glad that he's staying out of prison.
05:16You know, you got Trina, you got Blac Chyna.
05:19Like, who is your favorite to work with?
05:21Oh, my gosh.
05:23First and foremost, Jeremy Meeks is such a sweetheart.
05:25He's so cool, you know, on set and off set.
05:28Obviously, on set, he's like this bad boy that he kills that role every single time.
05:32Yes.
05:32Being prison bae.
05:33Right.
05:34Of course.
05:34Oh, yes.
05:35You know, but when it comes to the favorite, I don't really have a favorite because everybody, you know, everybody's just diverse.
05:44The energy was just amazing, especially being able to be a part of part two.
05:49It was like a huge family reunion, you know, especially with my sis, Erica Pinkett, who plays Tina in the film.
05:55You know, me and her grew this great bond and relationship, and we related, you know, outside of the movie.
06:01So it was so exciting seeing her on set again and us being able to, you know, be together throughout the whole process because she lives in Atlanta and I live in Miami.
06:09We try to link up, you know, here and there when we're both free.
06:12But for the most part, it was just really good to finally be back with everyone and for us to just create magic again.
06:19So I'm so glad y'all coming out with part two because I was like, I need to see what happens next.
06:25Now, I love it, Raina, that you talked about manifestation.
06:29Do you recommend people write something down or how do you recommend people, like, do what you did to get to where you are?
06:37Whatever works for you, do that.
06:39Some, everybody manifests in different ways.
06:41Some people think that they never manifested before, but if you've ever been hurt so bad and you look at yourself in the mirror and you say, why, God, help me through this, that's manifesting yourself out of that situation.
06:51You don't even know it.
06:53So back then when I was going through, because I'm a victim of domestic violence, I was in a situation for eight years.
06:58I used to put little quotes in my Bible, like, be strong.
07:02Time will tell.
07:03You know, get yourself out of this situation.
07:05Your kids are bigger than life.
07:07You know, you're better than this.
07:08You deserve more.
07:09Love yourself.
07:10So I used to put little notes in there because I knew that damn devil was not touching his Bible.
07:16Yes.
07:16He was going everything and anything else, my person, everything else, but he wouldn't touch that Bible because I knew he wouldn't read it.
07:21Right.
07:21So I would put everything and I would find myself not even knowing that I was manifesting myself out of that situation, but manifesting myself out of that situation.
07:29Don't get me emotional.
07:30I know.
07:30I'm like, oh, my God.
07:31Don't get me emotional.
07:32Don't get me emotional.
07:32I'm sorry.
07:32Again, we're doing it again.
07:33I know.
07:34See, the first time we were actually crying.
07:36I know.
07:37I'm like, oh, my God.
07:38We were crying.
07:38And it sucks because, you know, I love the fact that I'm meeting you now because we were literally doing it virtually.
07:44And we felt the energy between each other because this topic is I'm just glad in this generation.
07:51It's not even sensitive no more.
07:53We have a lot of people speaking up and actually helping women and showing them that they can overcome their situation.
07:58So when it when it came to that manifesting, you know, I put it in my Bible, but whatever works for you works for you.
08:05Write it down.
08:05I have now in my room, I have pictures.
08:08I change it every six months and it gets bigger and bigger and bigger.
08:13Even if I have to photocopy and cut my kid's head off and put it on a Harvard student's body with, you know, with their degree, I'm going to do that.
08:21If it's me holding up an Oscar or maybe six, I'm going to do that.
08:25Whatever I see myself manifesting for myself, my life, my family, my friends, love, happiness, peace.
08:30I'm going to continue to do that.
08:32So whatever works for you, do it.
08:34I love you so much.
08:35Thank you for coming by.
08:37Now, if Secret Society 2 comes out, when?
08:39Secret Society Part 2, Never Enough comes out on Amazon Prime July 29th.
08:44So you got time to watch Part 1.
08:47Trust me, you're really going to watch it.
08:49It is probably one of the best films.
08:52And I love that a black woman wrote it, produced it, filmed it.
08:55So I'm so happy to support it.
08:57It's probably one of the best films that touches on things that are happening right now.
09:02And I'm sure that it's going to help that trans girl.
09:05It's going to help that man that's in love with a trans woman.
09:07It's going to open their eyes to different things.
09:09And people who are just, like, kind of biased and don't see things like that.
09:13So I appreciate you.
09:15And I didn't wear makeup today.
09:16Hallelujah.
09:17I know you did.
09:17So I don't want you to, like, start crying.
09:20It's okay.
09:21Listen, that's life.
09:22But thank you so much for having me here again.
09:24You know, there are a lot of faces in Part 2.
09:27You guys are going to love the cliffhanger in the film, the story.
09:30It's just, it's going to be epic.
09:32And that's the word that I'll continue to use.
09:34Once again, we have Jamal Hill back again, you know, directing it.
09:38You know, executive producer, Miasha Coleman, producing her film.
09:41You know, so I can't wait for you guys to see Secret Society 2 Never Enough brought to life.
09:47Now, where can they follow you at on all socials?
09:49I love you.
09:51Love you, too.
09:52They can follow me at RaynaLove305.

10:02And she better remember me, okay?
10:04That's right.
10:04But she does.
10:05All right.
