00:03Mike Anthony broadcasting live here with TC.
00:05We are at PNC MedCard Center, and it's time.
00:08It's here.
00:08You know what I was thinking?
00:09It takes balls to cover ACDC.
00:12Oh, yeah.
00:13You know, especially that song.
00:14It's such an iconic song, you know.
00:16And Lizzie's got the balls, man.
00:17She can do it.
00:18She can do it.
00:19Rock the Park.
00:20We're here, man.
00:21I can't believe it's Rock the Park Day.
00:23Finally.
00:25Just incredible.
00:26As we got here, Hailstorm Boys Soundcheck.
00:28That sounded really, really good.
00:32Yeah, we'll give you all the set times coming up in a little bit.
00:34But what a lineup, man.
00:35We'll get to look forward to it.
00:36Lil' Czar in the morning.
00:38It's pretty reckless.
00:38And I'm going to see how it's going.
00:40It's going to be a great night.
00:41And I've said this multiple times, and I really, really mean it.
00:44Get here early.
00:45We've got some amazing young opening talent.
00:49And you don't want to miss Lil' Czar.
00:51She's going on at 6 o'clock.
00:52Doors at 5, Lil' at 6.
00:53And the warning is just absolutely incredible.
00:56These are girls that when they were, I don't know, 8, 10 years old, you know, they were
01:00YouTube sensations covering Metallica.
01:02Yeah.
01:03And now, that was 2014, so it's, you know, all those years later.
01:06Right.
01:06And they've got this phenomenal record out called Error, and they are bringing it every
01:12night on the tour.
01:13And I would, you know, it's going to be a fun time.
01:15And we have a special guest here.
01:17Not just the one and only TC, but Lizzie Hale.
01:20I feel like I haven't seen The Lizard in years.
01:23I'm so happy that you still told me that.
01:26That's amazing.
01:26I saw you.
01:27I don't know.
01:28I don't know.
01:29I don't know.
01:29I saw you.
01:30I don't know.
01:31I saw you.
01:31I don't know.
01:32I don't know.
01:32Because, I mean, we've been through a lot.
01:35And then I've seen you over Zoom, and now I'm like, oh, she does exist beyond the screen.
01:41So many times.
01:41So many times.
01:41It's so great to see you all of you.
01:42Seriously.
01:43You really well.
01:43It is awesome to see you.
01:44I was thinking about you, because you have so, like, diversified.
01:49And sometimes now I turn on the TV, and there's Lizzie.
01:52And she's, like, interviewing, and she's commentating, which is so great for you.
01:57So talk to me a little bit about kind of opening that little window.
02:00Well, I think that the silver lining over the past couple years is that I just, I mean,
02:05I've always said yes to adventure, but now I'm kind of doubling down to the point that
02:09I've realized that my method is say yes first, and then figure it out later.
02:14Yes, yes.
02:14That's the best.
02:14And so many of these things, like with the TV, I've been on AXS TV.
02:19Epics.
02:19I saw you on Epics.
02:21You were commentating for something.
02:22And no cover, and all this stuff.
02:24And it's so crazy how, like, that world has opened up.
02:26But the very first time I ever did it, it was, like, 20 minutes before we're about to,
02:30like, okay, we're starting shooting.
02:31And I'm like, what if I'm terrible at this?
02:33Right, right.
02:34I didn't even think about that.
02:35I just said yes, and, like, dove in head first in the shark tank.
02:38And, you know, and I just really enjoy it.
02:41It's just another extension of who I am, and I just love it.
02:45And I saw you, I think, interviewing, I didn't, no, I don't think, I remember seeing you interviewing
02:50the ladies from the morning.
02:51Yes.
02:51Which was so cool.
02:52And then did you decide, you know what, I've got to take these ladies.
02:55I've got to tell you, it's been, you know, a couple years where I've literally just been
02:59hounding on it, like, we have to take these girls out, we have to take these girls out.
03:02And then we met, we had a little whiting session, like, over Zoom, like, months and months
03:07ago, and they were just so incredibly sweet.
03:09They're delightful.
03:10Both.
03:10I said, not only are they monsters on stage, it's the only word I can think of for them,
03:14because I've never seen them.
03:15They're, like, so delightful.
03:17It's just this unbridled joy.
03:19Yes.
03:19And especially, like, backstage, because, like, it's just all, you know, all the girls,
03:22and, like, we're just doing the thing.
03:23And then all of a sudden, you hear these, like, little voices, and they're just excited
03:27about everything.
03:28And I'm like, oh, my gosh, this is so cool.
03:30And so I'm kind of, like, living vicariously through them, because I'm like, oh, my God,
03:34I remember, like, those early tours when everything was just so magical.
03:38And it still is, but it's just a different thing now.
03:40Yeah, you see it through somebody else's eyes.
03:43But, yeah, it's just, it's beautiful.
03:45And they're so sweet.
03:46And they're so good.
03:47You know, anybody listening that has not seen them live, I mean, it's just amazing.
03:53It's amazing.
03:54To the point that, like, I mean, you know, they're all under 21, and they're rocking it
03:58so hard that all of us, you know, backstage are watching this every night.
04:03We're like, hey, guys, we should go practice.
04:06You know?
04:06So it's really, it's beautiful.
04:08That is great.
04:09I remember seeing their YouTube video and the little sandals and the little bare feet.
04:13They're rocking it.
04:14And I'm like, look at these girls.
04:16Amazing.
04:16And I'm so happy that you've taken them out on the road, because that's where they deserve
04:20to be, being seen.
04:21Yes.
04:22And it's so amazing, you know, we talked about this before, but what you've done to really
04:26escalate that, you know, women in rock and roll coming and doing major tours, arena tours,
04:33shows with all-female fronted girls.
04:36We didn't see this years ago.
04:37I've been reading it a long time.
04:38We never saw it.
04:39And you've been somebody who's really put kind of the propeller on that and moved us to
04:44the front of the arena for that.
04:45Well, I just think it's really important.
04:47And I know it shouldn't be the main subject of like, hey, what's it like being a girl
04:51on rock?
04:52Like, we've all been through that.
04:54Yep.
04:54But the amazing thing about putting all of these, and all of us are from different walks
05:00of life, putting these girls on stage on a tour like this, you see it happen in the audience.
05:05You see all of these young girls that no matter what they want to be, they're seeing themselves
05:09reflected in one of us.
05:10And so it almost, it just kind of makes that, that bridge to their dreams a little shorter,
05:16you know, because I remember that happening to me when I first got introduced to, you know,
05:20our four mothers of rock, you know, Anne Wilson and Pat Benatar and Lita Ford and all of
05:24these girls.
05:25I remember that feeling where it's like, oh, they're doing what they love.
05:30They're doing what makes them happy.
05:32It's possible.
05:33I can do that too.
05:34I can do that too.
05:35And so, yeah, I'm just kind of trying to pass the torch.
05:37It's something for everybody on this tour.
05:39It's very different sounding.
05:40Oh, the Morning doesn't sound like Hailstorm.
05:42Hailstorm doesn't sound like Lilith.
05:45None of the bands sound like the Pretty Reckless.
05:47It's very, very unique.
05:48You know, it's a unique rock package regardless of gender.
05:51Absolutely.
05:52And it just goes back to that, you know, that age-old conversation is that we, all of us,
05:56and we've all had this conversation backstage, we didn't get into rock to impress a boyfriend
06:02or we didn't get drugged to the rock show.
06:04We were like, you know, doing two jobs at once in order to afford tickets so we could
06:09go to this happy place.
06:11And so we're all up there owning this genre.
06:15And, you know, like we've both talked about before, it's completely genderless and we're
06:18proving that over and over again.
06:20So, speaking of genderless, I wanted to do this because every time we talk, we talk about,
06:24you know, women rocking and the record is phenomenal.
06:28Back from the dead is what we all felt like.
06:31We all kind of felt like we were back from the dead.
06:33Talk to me about the band.
06:35Your band.
06:36Oh, man.
06:36We're just such a great unit of people, friends, musicians on stage.
06:42Every tour gets better and bigger and stronger and the stage show is amazing.
06:46Talk to me about the guys.
06:47Talk to me about, you know, Joe and Josh and R.J.
06:51And how you guys, almost 20 years now together.
06:55It's a long time for me.
06:56Absolutely.
06:58Well, I mean, part of the reason why I'm wearing this hat this year is that on August 9th, this
07:07month, just coming up in a little bit, we'll mark the 25th anniversary of our first ever
07:14show as Hailstorm.
07:16Wow.
07:16So my little brother and I, my little brother's in the drums.
07:19You can see him from a mile away.
07:20He is a neon green.
07:21He's a walking glow stick right now.
07:23He wears his personality on the outside.
07:26But all of us, Joe and Josh, I mean, they're my brothers from another mother.
07:29And we, I think the biggest accomplishment that we have as a band is that we all still love
07:35each other.
07:36We, we, we hang out.
07:37We laugh to the point of tears every single day.
07:39We support each other.
07:41It would not be Hailstorm without those four pillars.
07:45Each of us brings something to the table.
07:46We also, you know, speaking of hats, we, we all wear different types of hats where it's
07:51my little brother knows when I'm talking to him, like I'm a big sister.
07:54And he knows when I'm talking to him, like, Hey, I'm your bandmate now.
07:57Right.
07:57And likewise, it goes around and around with all four of us.
08:00But I am so lucky.
08:01I've had these boys next to me since the beginning.
08:06And they're my allies.
08:07They're my best friends.
08:09They know me better than my own family does at this point.
08:11You know, it's true.
08:13Yeah, it's true.
08:14And you're the front person.
08:15You know, the front person always gets the, the person who does the interviews and the
08:18person who does the zooms and the person who does.
08:20So I was like, you know what?
08:21This time we got to give it up for the rest of the band.
08:22Oh yeah.
08:23Well, I have to tell you.
08:24So this is a conversation that now I'm having with a lot of other people.
08:27Like, Hey, um, so you're on the cover of the album.
08:31Um, you're doing a lot of, it's always their idea.
08:35Cause I'm, I'm like, they're like, no, you do it.
08:37You do it.
08:37You put it out there.
08:38So they actually really liked that.
08:39I love doing music videos.
08:41They like it too, but I like it more.
08:42So, you know, if you see me being the front person, all this stuff, just know these guys
08:47are my allies and they are very much enjoying all of that.
08:50Oh, and by the way, the video for Wicked Ways is so incredible.
08:53Thank you so much.
08:53Oh my gosh.
08:55You, I, it's unbelievable.
08:57Whoever styled that.
08:58We, we, uh, we went back with, uh, with Dustin Hayes, who actually did our Back to the Dead
09:02video.
09:03Oh, so good.
09:03Um, we've become really good friends and that was his favorite song on the album.
09:06So when, when we're like, okay, we need to do this as the next single, like, okay, call
09:10up Dustin.
09:10What do you got, buddy?
09:12And it was, it was so cute.
09:14The, um, if, if any of you guys have watched the video, the priest was so sweet.
09:18He's like this quiet, beautiful man.
09:20And then all of a sudden he got into character and I'm like, oh, you're creepy.
09:23This is awesome.
09:24You know, so yeah, we had a lot of fun doing that.
09:26That's great.
09:26Lizzie, we love you so much.
09:28Thank you so much.
09:28We love you too.
09:29We've known you since 2009.
09:31Oh my gosh.
09:31And you know, it's just like the time to stay by.
09:33It's a great family.
09:34You are so, um, so happy to be here at Rock the Park.
09:38Get here probably, guys.
09:39Don't miss our openers.
09:41Uh, Hailstorm going on at 9.30.
09:42Doors, by the way, open at 5.
09:43Lilith on at 6.
09:45Uh, tickets still available.
09:46And Lizzie, love you.
09:47And thank you so much for being with us.
09:48Love you too.
09:48No, thank you so much for being a part of the Hailstorm family for so many years.
09:51You guys have stuck with us.
09:53We love you so much.
09:54Yay!
09:54And we'll be back with more DHA Rock coming up live from Rock the Park.
09:57And look at, this is what I just said to Lilith Zarr, my girl, who I just love, love, love.
10:02Does she ever look like there's a bead of sweat on her?
10:06Not at all.
10:06She's, you're just, you're a rock star.
10:09You're such a rock star.
10:10I can't even take it anymore.
10:11And it's great to see you.
10:12It's so good to see you.
10:13I feel like I have this love affair with you on social media.
10:15I know, I know.
10:16I'm always watching you.
10:18I love it.
10:18I love that we're able to chat every day.
10:20It's so nice.
10:21And it's so nice to see you and be able to see you on tour.
10:23I thought of you yesterday.
10:24Do you know what yesterday was?
10:26Yesterday was Wednesday.
10:2941st anniversary of Belladonna being released from Stevie Nicks.
10:32And I know that Stevie has inspired you so much.
10:37I remember you telling me a story.
10:39I'm almost ashamed of myself.
10:39If I hadn't had my head buried in yesterday's show.
10:42Well, one thing goes into the next thing goes into the next thing.
10:45Tell the story again that you told me when you were first on Reconnect with Rockers.
10:50When you first heard Edge of 17, where you were and the impact it had on you as a young girl.
10:55So, I would say that Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Belladonna, Rumors, that those were the two, I would say, prominent records played in my house as a little girl.
11:09But, Stevie was the first female singer and rock musician that I heard as a human.
11:24And, when I heard her voice when I was, I mean, I must have been four years old.
11:31There was just something so captivating about it.
11:36The rawness, the real grit to it, but the fragileness and the vulnerability to her voice, but then it also was very commanding.
11:46All of those things, I just gravitated towards her so much that, you know, I had my mom buying, you know, VHS tapes so I could watch Fleetwood Mac.
11:58And, seeing her was a whole other experience, you know, seeing how just mystical she was and larger than life.
12:07And, it just felt like she wasn't really part of this earth.
12:10And, yeah, I just, I owe a lot to her.
12:16I see, though, a lot of that in what you do.
12:18Because, it's very, you know, I was recently talking with someone.
12:22I gave an interview about women in music.
12:24And, they asked me some of my favorite tunes from the year, and I said you, and I said the Dorothy record I loved.
12:31And, I explained to you as rock performance art, which is what I think makes you so unique.
12:36And, I can see you sort of getting into that spell that she kind of gets in when you're on stage.
12:42It's very similar.
12:43Well, thank you.
12:44That's a giant compliment.
12:46I don't know if I can accept it.
12:48Because, you get really lost.
12:49Yeah, well, that is something that I've always experienced when I go on stage, is once I start singing, once I start performing, it's kind of like a little bit of an out-of-body experience for me.
13:00I get very, I do, I get lost in my own world.
13:06And, that's what happens when you go on stage as a performer.
13:10And, even as somebody who attends shows, you're going to a new world.
13:15You're going to a different universe.
13:16You're going to a place that artists have created for you, and, you know, to bring you in.
13:21And, it's this whole world.
13:23And, so, I don't know, I do get really, really caught up in that kind of energy with the crowd, and with the music, and the singing, the whole thing.
13:31It feels like a different plane, almost, than just being on planet Earth.
13:38Yeah, and we feel it, too.
13:39We feel it, too.
13:40And, the other thing that this year has shown me is just how hard you work.
13:45You have not stopped at all.
13:48You have been on tour, after tour, after tour, just killing it every night.
13:53I remember you were on one of the tours, the Three Days Grace Tour, and those guys had to take a day off, because they had a COVID, you know, a COVID positive.
14:01We did not.
14:01And, then what did you do?
14:02You do, you were like, hi, we're doing a free show.
14:05Like, you just keep going.
14:07How important has it been for you, over this year, to just build that fan base like you have?
14:14And, the fan base is so loyal.
14:16They love you.
14:17You know, well, thank you.
14:20It's extremely important.
14:22I think that, after 2020, you know, I kind of got an idea of what the world would be like without live music, and without getting to do the one thing that makes me feel complete.
14:40And, I did not like it.
14:42It was not a good feeling.
14:44And, so, I think that, you know, there's a silver lining there with COVID, for me personally.
14:51And, that's that I'm not taking this for granted.
14:54And, it is, you know, it can be fleeting.
14:58And, so, you better do it now.
15:01And, do it as much as you possibly can, because who knows what's going to happen tomorrow.
15:06Doors at 5.
15:07Lilith on at 6.
15:09Your band is amazing, too.
15:11And, I keep telling everyone, get here early.
15:15Tailgating is fun.
15:16If you want to do it, do it really super early.
15:18But, don't miss our opening bands, because we've got phenomenal, great, young female talent.
15:24And, I want everybody to make sure that they see you, because you killed it at Rock the Rock Fest.
15:27And, I'm so happy that you're on this, Phil.
15:29Thank you so much.
15:29So, love you.
15:31I love you.
15:31Thank you so much for stopping by.
15:33The beautiful, amazing Lilith's Ark.
15:35We're going to play you doing Edge of 17 a little later in the broadcast, I think.
15:39Okay.
15:39But, I want to do 100 Little Deaths right now.
15:41Awesome.
15:42Let's do it.
15:43Suzu, this is here from Soraya.
15:45I was going to say, who could it be?
15:46Who could it be?
15:47Who else is coming?
15:48Oh, my gosh.
15:49It's so great to see you.
15:50You came to Scotty B's date.
15:52I did.
15:53Yeah, Scotty B's.
15:54I'm Miss Rhodey today.
15:55Yeah, that's sweet.
15:56I'm Miss Rhodey.
15:56I'm the Phil for the Limp.
15:59Scotty B in the house.
16:01Scotty is in the house.
16:02The Rock Turtle Brigade, I'm sure, is already tailgating.
16:04They started on Monday.
16:05That's right.
16:06I started Sunday.
16:08So, talk to me about why you wanted to be at the show.
16:12I mean, this is a dynamite bill, but what is it like for you, you know, being a woman
16:16who's on stage every night, kind of kicking it, and seeing, you know, a full, you know,
16:20female-fronted bill?
16:22I think it's awesome.
16:23I never seen, I saw Hailstorm back when I first started.
16:28I was on a bill with Lizzie, and they were just leaving the area, and I had just started.
16:33So, to get to see them now is going to be really exciting, and I think it's really cool
16:37that it's all female-fronted acts and such powerhouses, too.
16:41I'm really excited.
16:42I was excited to come to the show.
16:44I was, like, kind of excited all week, so, because I knew I was coming.
16:47So, I'm just happy to be here at Scotty State and as a guest, and I love WDHA, you know
16:54that, so anytime I can support you.
16:56And we love you.
16:57It's so nice to have you.
16:58And, of course, the zoos are, like, just arrived, and I'm like, get behind the microphone.
17:01Come on, we're going to put you to work.
17:02Come on, get on the air with us today.
17:05So, talk to me about what's going on with the band.
17:06What's going on with Soraya?
17:07Well, we just finished our last, we're doing some one-offs in July.
17:11We came back from Sweden, and we did our video on the West Coast.
17:14It's so good, too.
17:15I cannot wait for you to see this video.
17:17So, all your video work has been so amazing.
17:20Where do you find these great video people who capture what the band is about?
17:25Because I think every song tells a great story.
17:28Are you involved in sort of the storyboards for these things?
17:31I am.
17:31I actually, it's the same director the last two videos, and I am so in love with his stories.
17:36And this new one that's coming, too?
17:38Yeah, he's done I Am the Fire.
17:40He's done with Hale Storm.
17:42Oh, wow.
17:43Yeah, he's the first AD on a lot of those.
17:45He just did the Yeah, Yeah, Yeah as a new video.
17:46Oh, awesome.
17:47But he's a great storyteller, and he always asks me what my story of the song is about.
17:52And he takes it, he takes one line, I say, I'm alive in the song, and wait, do you see
17:55what he did with that?
17:56And he made the whole video story around that.
17:58Awesome.
17:59It's amazing.
18:00It was fun to do.
18:01It's always fun to work with him.
18:02I'm always inspired.
18:03His team is very inspiring.
18:04They're film people, so it's like a mini film all the time, which I love.
18:08Like, I love the story.
18:09And they're so personal.
18:10You want them to come out.
18:12You don't want it to take away from what the song is, you know?
18:15So I think that people don't realize when you do a video, and you do something, and you're
18:19sort of like, oh, we didn't really like that very much.
18:21You know, some people think that a video could ruin everything for them, you know?
18:24So it's a very, very important part of the creative process of making art.
18:28I think so.
18:28So I've enjoyed doing them more.
18:30I used to not like them at all.
18:32Now, working with this team and this director, I love doing them.
18:35I feel like it adds to the story of the songs that I come up with later, too.
18:39And you know what I love, too?
18:40Scotty was on me all week.
18:42Send me set time.
18:43Send me set time.
18:44Send me set time.
18:44So I said, all right, all right, all right.
18:46And he goes, because Zuzu doesn't want to miss any of the bands.
18:48And I love that.
18:49That's what I love about you.
18:50You're so music passionate.
18:51I'm here for, I'm here for, from this start with Lilith's art to the end with Halestorm.
18:56You're going to be blown away by Lilith.
18:57She's awesome.
18:58I've never seen her either.
18:59Phenomenal.
18:59I'm really excited.
19:01It's a great film.
19:01Dores, by the way, at five, everybody get here.
19:03Lilith goes on at six.
19:04Mike, Anthony, we'll turn it back.
19:06Oh, we had such a star-studded hour here.
19:09Pretty awesome stuff, man.
19:09Lilith was here, and Lizzie was here, and Zuzu came by.
19:13And we've got the ladies from the morning.
19:15I feel like I've known you guys forever.
19:18Even though I just Zoomed with you one time.
19:21But we had such a great time while we Zoomed.
19:24We bonded.
19:24Yeah, we definitely bonded.
19:26And I mentioned on the air before, and it's such a corny word, and I hope you don't hate me for saying this,
19:29but I said, they're just like, not only are they monsters on stage, they're just the most delightful girls to be around.
19:36And Lizzie was here earlier, and she said that you guys brought this energy to the tour, because for you guys,
19:42and she, Mike, she did say this.
19:45She did that last.
19:46She said the band watches you, and then they kind of look at each other and go,
19:49Oh, my God, we've got to bring it to you.
19:50Oh, my God.
19:52No, no, no.
19:53I think it's the other way around completely.
19:54We get to watch their shows every night, and it's just amazing.
19:57They blow our heads every single night.
20:00Well, she did say that you've sort of upped the game for the band,
20:03which I think for the headliner and for somebody who's been doing it 25 years,
20:07is pretty, pretty amazing.
20:08Well, I've heard amazing things about you guys on tour.
20:11I hear that you're just completely converting fans over.
20:15People love you guys.
20:17They're loving the sex.
20:18The merch group is on fire, I've heard.
20:21So talk to me about what it's like that you guys have this incredible fan base.
20:25When I posted the Reconnect with Rockers that I did,
20:28it was like thousands of hits on the video were coming, like, fast and furious, like, every hour.
20:34Where did this amazing international fan base?
20:36Oh, my God.
20:37That's the warning army for you.
20:38Yeah, it's literally, there's a lot of, uh, there's a big community of our fan base that we love.
20:44We have our own Patreon page, and I think that's where it kind of, like, grew to the amount of people
20:50that are in this community as of right now.
20:52And most of them don't even know each other, but they're already, like, super connected.
20:56They're like, we're going to meet at the warning show someday.
21:00So, yes, everyone is super, um, supportive, and we have a very, like, nice and loving community.
21:07Yeah, they love, they love you guys, they love the sisters.
21:10Now, which sister was not the sister that was originally going to play music with the other two sisters?
21:15Because I know that two were really passionate and started out, and one of you were kind of unsure.
21:20Well, I, not unsure, but I think I was kind of added because you were young.
21:25So, when, how did Dani started?
21:28Dani was, like, you were six and how was four?
21:32Oh, okay.
21:33Well, six and four, so I was, like, one.
21:35Oh, okay, okay, okay, I got it, I got it.
21:37I got it, yeah, okay.
21:39And then later on, I started playing piano as well, and then, of course, I got to choose
21:42bass, and, yeah, I wasn't really unsure.
21:45I was just really young to start playing.
21:47And my favorite bass player, at whatever age she was, eight years old or seven, with
21:51her sandals on, her little sandals in the Metallica video game.
21:55Incredible.
21:56So, talk to me about Papa.
21:57Because what kind of started all of this, right?
22:00So, talk to me about your dad a little bit.
22:01So, my dad was an audio engineer.
22:03He had his studio.
22:03He had his thing going on.
22:05And at one point, he just, like, really wanted to express his, like, music with us.
22:13So, he, we grew up listening to a lot of music that he was, like, absolutely insane.
22:18So, like, the family bonding that we had in our house, like, literally watching concerts
22:23on the TV.
22:25So, what was the first person you saw, like, that made that visual impact on you?
22:30Do you remember?
22:31Oh, my God.
22:32Like, he literally played us concerts since we were babies.
22:35So, I don't, like, remember the first, but I feel like the one, yeah, Queen.
22:39Queen.
22:40Oh, wow.
22:41And Muse.
22:43And Muse.
22:43And that, you know what, I see this kind of, there's three of you.
22:48I love a good power trio.
22:49And I see that big sound.
22:51There's that big arena kind of rock sound.
22:55Yeah.
22:55So, talk to me about the new record, Cara.
22:57Well, the new record, we recorded it in 2020.
23:00Here in New Jersey.
23:02Clifton, New Jersey.
23:04Can you read that?
23:05I just spent four months here working on this record.
23:09And it's a pandemic phase.
23:12It really is.
23:14Because we, in the middle of lockdown, we found a way to just, like, kind of, like, lock ourselves
23:18down, but in a studio and work on this creatively.
23:21So, we focused on it so, so much.
23:24And now that it's finally out, we're super proud of it.
23:27ERA is an album that consists of 14 songs.
23:30And it talks about a lot of, like, the modern age look on technology, love, how everything,
23:39now that we are included in social media most of the time, how it's different for us who
23:46grew up with that already existing, how it influences our emotions and our psychological
23:51way of viewing things.
23:53Yeah, yeah, yeah.
23:54And, and, and greed.
23:56And greed, yeah.
23:57Great song talking about greed.
24:00Yeah.
24:01Yeah.
24:01So, super excited that you guys are on this one.
24:05You guys are moving on at 6.50.
24:08That is correct.
24:096.50.
24:10I've said it before, and I will say it again.
24:13For those of you coming to the show, you can tailgate, but get in here early for our support
24:17fans, because they are amazing.
24:19Lilith on at 6, the warning on at 6.50.
24:20Ladies, I thank you so much for coming by and hanging out.
24:24And you guys, I gave you guys a couple of choices of what should we play, and you guys
24:27said choke, so talk to us instead of choke a little bit.
24:30Of course, choke, well, it's one of my favorites because it was actually a challenge for me
24:34vocally.
24:35It's a very cool.
24:36It's a monster, yeah.
24:36Yes.
24:37And I love to play it live, and it's also a very deep song that means a lot to us about,
24:42you know, mental health and what a lot of us went through during the pandemic, figuring
24:48out that we were completely by ourselves.
24:52Like, we had a lot of time to, like, be with ourselves, and that's kind of what the song
24:57expresses.
24:59Love it.
24:59It's choke.
25:00It's the warning.
25:01Get here.
25:01Rock the Park is on 105.5 WDH, the Rock the Park, New Jersey.
25:05Thank you, ladies.
