00:00you know lisa mentioned this a little while ago on the show she got on a flight
00:09and the pilot sounded super young he looked yeah he looked super young yeah and so look like he
00:16was 10 yeah that was disturbing to her yes funny enough they did a whole survey on this
00:23do you have more confidence in the pilot of your plane based on his or her accent
00:29and a majority of people said yes they do their accent makes them more or less trustworthy
00:37in their opinion they should just hire voice guys to be back there and act like the pilot
00:44the pilot's telling them what to say and he's like oh come on man say something yeah and he's like well
00:49listen we're gonna take this bird down you guys got nothing to fear yeah really i have heard been
00:56on flights where it's been like the assistant one of you not the like the co-pilot he does all and
01:01it's probably because the pilot is has a horrible voice right it might be if you had a voice that
01:06was real sketchy or high i think it doesn't instill peace in people they'd be more fearful
01:13uh judy judy uh we're gonna fly this birdie uh we're gonna go on up in the air we're gonna take it
01:20all we gotta get off don't worry uh it's on the handle we're gonna judy judy i'm not comfortable
01:28i need to get up gonna be uh on the ground in about four hours taking a triple doses annex right
01:37now four hours and 25 minutes no way get me out he just said judy judy everybody he said judy judy
01:45you know like i wouldn't want that i wouldn't want that okay so they focus just on north american
01:50accents and upper midwest which is i believe the accent you do when you do a pilot generally
01:56yes um it's that's by far the accent they trust the most when a pilot comes on the pa
02:01yeah it's like the guy that you hear on tv every day right upper midwest amount
02:06he sounds more like this voice we're gonna take this bird down all right time to fly everybody
02:11all right buckle up i wouldn't want to hear this to be totally honest with you i really wouldn't like
02:17it i wouldn't uh how you doing thanks for flying the delta today uh we're gonna get this bird on
02:23the air as soon as we can we're number two on a taxi right now and uh hopefully everybody's having
02:28a swell day okie dokie all right we're gonna get up in the air a couple times uh just uh sit back
02:35listen to your stewardesses and uh enjoy your flight i don't like this i don't like that guy either
02:41so who uh do we not trust then the number one accent we do not trust when we hear it from our pilot
02:47texan a texas accent well that's that southern i would guess it's got like an extra edge to it
02:54yeah you think it's more like that like hey we're about to take off good luck hopefully uh there ain't
03:02no uh terrorists on board because if there is i'll tell you i'll shoot you right in your head
03:08come on up here and try i don't know i got him okay with that i got seven guns

03:44so it's gonna be really uh bumpy hey uh and uh you know just try and be nice to each other hey and like
03:52like uh sorry already hey for everything that's about to go wrong because a lot is probably hey we
03:58don't have a lot of stuff here like you're gonna want you're gonna want like uh molson or like a
04:03bat and we don't have any oh we got his moose head on this flight hey so hopefully you're cool uh like
04:09with that and stuff we probably don't even have bottle openers uh anyway uh we're gonna take off
04:15we should uh be in saskatchewan uh a couple hours from uh now hey all right set your uh watches hey
04:21i think it all depends on where you come from yeah you know what's familiar to you and what's not
04:27um this person said actually i love flying in and out of uh logan airport because some of the
04:32pilots have really strong boston accents lisa would love it oh yeah yeah i'd love it pilot thomas
04:37oh my god our pilot sounds like a dead guy
04:48oh don't do that everyone relax i'm going to disable the seatbelt side now
04:58no getting up no bathroom breaks for you
05:03we'll be on the ground very shortly oh my god it's a long flight though
05:10yeah no that one definitely you don't trust yeah pilot thomas clock no of course not or like a speech
05:16impediment oh my god no no that's horrible there's a few here at least there's this one
05:22hey everybody this is your pilot speaking is there any chance anyone uh the doctor on board
05:29because we're gonna have a lot of problems i do not know how to land a thing
05:33so uh just uh we should be in saskatchewan
