Tom is newly employed on the job after been made redundant from his old job after many years and is unaware of the area, but soon discovers she lives in one of the new housing developments, a yuppie with a young husband, Martin. 47:25So the little girl says, hey, look at that poor man over there.
47:41It's a shame to see somebody just like that walking about.
47:44And then the other one turns around and says, yeah, but doesn't his suit fit him nice?
47:52You liar!
47:54On my granddaughter's life!
47:56That's like what I saw in the car with her mum?
47:59Kate, yeah.
48:01Same as you.
48:03Her husband left her. Oh, good.
48:06Yeah, that must be hard.
48:09Selfish bastards now.
48:11You old fellas.
48:14Look after yourself, eh?
48:16Fartherly concern.

49:47OK. Bye.
49:49I hear she was worth getting into trouble for.
50:04I'll be home later tonight. I've started driving lessons.
50:14You never said.
50:16Can't look properly here without a car.
50:20I'd better get a mobile.
50:21Foot right down on the clutch. First gear.
50:37Is your foot right down?
50:43Here.
50:46Clutch up slowly.
50:51Nothing's happening.
50:53It would be better if you took the handbrake off.
50:56Are your hands in the way?
51:07That's it. Go, on, Your Honour. Go on.
51:08That's it. Go on, you're on it. Go on, go on, go on, that's it, go on, that's it.
51:38You had a shave? You had one this morning. I'm getting airy as I'm getting older.
51:45I'm getting older.
52:07Don't rub it that way, middle of the week, so it's quiet.
52:11Mm, smoothie, chaps.
52:14Maybe I'm hoping my luck will change.
52:17As long as she's a big tipper, I don't care.
52:29We're willing to do this.
52:44You should have let me get them.
52:47You should have let me get them.
52:50You should have let me get them.
52:53You should have let me get them.
52:55You should have let me get them.
52:57You should have let me get them.

53:04You should have let me get them.
53:05You should have let me get them.
53:06You should have let me get them.
53:07You should have let me get them.
53:09You should have let me get them.
53:12You should have let me get them.
53:14The dumb thing!
53:20It's nice to get out of the town.
53:22We forget this countryside.
53:26Where did you say you were going?
53:28Out with some girls from the bank.
53:30I'm supposed to be on legs.
53:32I am. On legs.
53:34Anybody think we're having an affair the way we're carrying on?
53:42Why don't you tell him about me?
53:46I can't explain it properly.
53:50Why don't you tell your wife about me?
54:00Shit!
54:02What are they?
54:04Friends of Martins. Better go.
54:06Why?
54:08I mustn't see. Come on!
54:12Come on!
54:14Come on!
54:22Why don't you tell me now?
54:24Why don't you tell me now?
54:26I can't have quite anything in this stuff.
54:45Anybody think we're having an affair the way we're carrying on?
54:47That's wrong with you.
54:51I'll take you home.
54:52I don't want to go home.
54:54I should be at work.
54:55I should be picking other fares up.
54:58We won't see each other again.
55:01I'm sure InfoCo's got a social club.
55:04Why don't you join in?
55:06I don't understand what I've done.
55:08It's not to do with who's fault it is.
55:10It's just that this situation is, well, it's a bit...
55:14a bit funny.
55:17A bit bloody ridiculous, to be honest.
55:19No, it's not.
55:20Of course it is.
55:21What am I doing, being smuggled out of a pub by a young bird?
55:27So a husband doesn't find out.
55:29Find out what?
55:31What are we?
55:32The old couple?
55:35You're a friend of mine.
55:36Listen, people like us can't be friends.
55:39Don't care how modern you are.
55:41But it doesn't happen in London.
55:44There's certainly some bloody outing up here.
55:46I'd like to see you.
55:49But I don't tell anyone I do.
55:50Oh, I don't want to touch you all the time.
56:02Come on, please.
56:11Any excuse to get a bit closer?
56:15Any more meetings?
56:16I don't think I could have myself.
56:18What would you think, eh?
56:19A silly old taxi driver's got the wrong idea.
56:25You push me away.
56:27Oh, he'd be nice or understanding.
56:30We could be disgusted as well.
56:33That's the scene, I imagine.
56:37I don't want it to end up like that.
56:38So I think it's best we turn it in.
56:43Oh, you don't know the effect of it on me.
56:49You don't have to be kind to me.
56:53I want it to carry on, Tom.
56:57I'll kill it.
56:57Oh, you don't know the effect.
56:59Oh, you don't know.
57:00Oh, you don't know.
57:02Oh, you don't know it.
