The contestants competing in this episode are Michael & Mandy Cryer from Berkshire & Birmingham, Barbara & Pete Harkin from Cleveland, Peter Smith &Janet Silverwood from Lancashire and Kathy Ashford & Mark Wilcox from Birmingham. Bruce Forsyth guides them through the games, assisted by Rosemary Ford, as they face such tasks as "Tinicling" ((where they really need to hop foot it if they don't want to be caught), "A Piece of Cake" (involving iceing), "Commercials" (which presents a real challenge for some) and "Fill Your Boots Up" (welly making). The final two couples then face off as recruits in a Queen's Colour Squadron parade before a tense tiebreaker question to see who will go through to the Conveyor Belt finale. The scoring isn't always fair at times, and one couple are not entirely the life and soul of the show, but Michael Redfearn (the Oxo dad) makes an appearance to judge one of the games, and a couple of the games are quite fun. This episode very nearly didn't appear on here complete, as when I recorded it from the TV this week the morning recording cut for a ad break just before the tie breaker and didn't show the end! Luckily the repeat did, otherwise you'd never know who won!
