Tahawwur Hussain Rana, a key accused in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, is expected to arrive in Delhi at any moment. The Palam Technical Area has been placed under heavy security, with armored vehicles, ambulances, and top officials from Indian security agencies already present. As per reports, a team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) will officially arrest Rana upon his arrival. Rana, a former Pakistan Army officer, is being extradited from the United States after years of legal proceedings. Despite his deep ties with Pakistan—including a decade-long service in the Pakistan Army and close collaboration with ISI—Pakistan has now distanced itself from him. Sources say Rana may be taken directly to Tihar Jail under a heavily guarded convoy. A special prison van and a 15-member Delhi Police team equipped with advanced weapons have been kept on standby. Security has been intensified in key areas of Delhi, and different operational plans (Plan A, B, and C) are in place to avoid any potential threat during his transit. India’s firm stance sends a clear message globally: justice may be delayed, but it is never denied. The nation awaits justice for the victims of the horrific 26/11 attacks.
