SWAT commandos, CISF, and Delhi Police will escort him in a bulletproof vehicle from Palam Technical Airport. Once at the NIA office, he will undergo a medical check-up followed by court proceedings. The NIA is expected to seek his remand for interrogation. Rana is accused under a 2009 UAPA FIR, and India has long pursued his extradition. The US finally approved the handover after evaluating India’s evidence, despite Rana’s legal appeals.
