00:00Good afternoon, this is the latest update on the weather this Monday, April 7, 2025.
00:08At the moment, the Intertropical Convergence Zone, or ITCZ, is in effect in southern Mindanao.
00:16The ITCZ is the wind flow from the northern and southern hemispheres.
00:22The ITCZ will bring heavy rainfall and heavy rains, lightning and thunderstorms
00:27to Barm, Soxargen, Zamboanga Peninsula, Danau del Norte and Misamis Occidental, as well as Palawan.
00:37Therefore, areas where it rained the other day should be careful of flooding or landslides.
00:45The easterlies, or the hot winds from the Pacific Ocean,
00:49will be affected in most of the country.
00:53We hope that a large part of the country will experience hot and stormy weather.
01:00As for the weather in Metro Manila and most of the country,
01:05we still expect fair weather conditions and chances of localized thunderstorms,
01:11especially every afternoon and night.
01:13Our regional services division will continue to issue thunderstorm advisory,
01:19rainfall advisory or heavy rainfall warning if necessary.
01:23At the moment, we are still unable to monitor low-pressure areas or thunderstorms
01:28inside or near our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:32As for the weather tomorrow, we expect that in the Palawan area,
01:38it is still possible for it to rain due to the ITCZ, or Intertropical Convergence Zone.
01:43Meanwhile, in Metro Manila and most of the country,
01:47we still expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies conditions and chances of localized thunderstorms.
01:54The temperature tomorrow in Metro Manila is 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.
01:5916 to 25 degrees Celsius in Baguio.
02:0225 to 33 degrees Celsius in Lawag.
02:0524 to 34 degrees Celsius in Tuguegarao.
02:0825 to 32 degrees Celsius in Legazpi.
02:1223 to 31 degrees Celsius in Tagaytay.
02:16The temperature tomorrow in Puerto Princesa and Calean Islands is 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:23As for the weather in Visayas,
02:26we still expect fair weather conditions and chances of localized thunderstorms.
02:32As for the weather conditions in Mindanao area,
02:35we expect that in Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi, it is still possible for ITCZ to rain.
02:41And in most of Mindanao, the weather is better but there are still chances of localized thunderstorms.
02:48The temperature tomorrow in Cebu and Iloilo is 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:5425 to 32 degrees Celsius in Tacloban.
02:5824 to 32 degrees Celsius in Caguiende Oro and Zamboanga.
03:02And 24 to 33 degrees Celsius in Maydabao.
03:07As for the weather conditions in the ocean,
03:10we still do not have a high gale warning for any sea or country in our country.
03:15As for the three-day weather outlook of our main cities,
03:19we expect that in Metro Manila, Baguio City and Legazpi City,
03:23the part that is cloudy to cloudy will continue and there are chances of localized thunderstorms.
03:30The temperature in Metro Manila is 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.
03:3516 to 25 degrees Celsius in Baguio.
03:38And 25 to 32 degrees Celsius in Legazpi City.
03:42As for the main cities,
03:45in Visayas, we expect that there is still no weather system
03:48that will bring widespread or prolonged rains in Visayas.
03:52So in Metro Cebu, Iloilo City and Tacloban City,
03:56the part that is cloudy to cloudy will continue and there are chances of localized thunderstorms.
04:03The temperature in Metro Cebu is 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.
04:0825 to 33 degrees Celsius in Iloilo City.
04:12And 25 to 32 degrees Celsius in Tacloban City.
04:16As for the main cities in Mindanao area,
04:20we expect that until Wednesday,
04:22there will still be fair weather conditions in Metro Davao.
04:26But by Thursday and Friday,
04:29it is possible that it will rain in Davao as well as in the Caraga Region.
04:32Although here in Cagayan de Oro City and Zamboanga City,
04:36Wednesday to Friday, it will still be partly cloudy to cloudy skies
04:41with chances of localized thunderstorms.
04:44The temperature in Metro Davao is 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.
04:4924 to 32 degrees Celsius in Cagayan de Oro City.
