00:00Today is the last one. This is the last project and we've done umpteen, umpteen
00:07projects. Every time personally I come here and I meet, if you like, the team, you
00:16can't help but be impressed by the kindness, the decency and the care, right,
00:23that they provide. As a parent, as a grandparent, you can only, you know, what's
00:30isn't reflect back to when my kids were young to understand how important it is
00:36for them to, you know, to have that type of help and support, a smiling face, somebody
00:42that genuinely cares. It's so important and that's why we, you know, when we look
00:51to, if you like, doing projects, creating a proud living legacy, if it's important,
00:58no, no, no, it's very, very important, is that you engage with people and you turn
01:07around and you understand the dedication and the professionalism of the staff, you
01:15know, go the extra mile to turn around, right, and they, sorry, no problem. It is, it gives
01:28us comfort and over the years we've built up trust with all of you. I mean, we've
01:36even lied on bed together. There was flashing lights. Not sure if that's helping or hindering.
01:50To be fair, the doctor said I didn't have a heart attack, right, but, you know, what's
01:57isn't, as this is the last one, to all of the staff, you know, Zoe, Amy, Casey, yeah,
02:05and to all of you, thank you for what you've done. The two Zoe's. When Zoe Davis first
02:13requested funding for the blood pressure monitors and you understand a little bit about it and
02:23as we drove towards a closure, it was juggling things about, trying to make sure that you're
02:30not spending money, you're not making commitments on things that you may have to withdraw from
02:37later on. This is a surprise. We're actually going, we're going to give you two checks.
02:46We're going to give you a check for the one monitor that you've got, but we're also going
02:50to give you a check for another one. So the two that you originally requested, are you
02:56going to have both of them? Okay, so to all of you and to all of the ex-members, right,
03:04Barry, Mark, Wayne, right, Brian Scott, to all of you and all those who have attended
03:12our presentations, thank you. Thank you for what you've done. It's been important to us
03:23and the relationship that we've built up with the Express and Star, most, most of the projects
03:31have come through articles in the Express and Star. People have walked into Jessica
03:36Labert and Heather Lodge and Lisa O'Brien and they've turned around, right, and on the
03:42back of that, we've had hundreds, hundreds of requests. Every one of them we've responded
03:48to, right. It makes you realise, naively, I thought a charity was always good. The last
03:57seven, eight years we've found out maybe not all charities are good, right. It's an experience.
04:02This is the last of it. Thank you to each and every one of you for what you've done. Thank you.
