A group from The Old Bush Inn, Bilston have raised money for the Air Ambulance.

00:00Okay Steve, so you're chief fundraiser here at the Old Bush, just explain what happened, what you did.

00:05So like, we've got a five o'clock club, Monday to Friday, we all come in for a drink, all local

00:13businessmen, regulars, and that's everybody here behind you as well, yeah, and then we just decided

00:19we'd like to do something a bit useful for the community, so we talked about various options,

00:24yeah, and then we all decided as a group that it would be the West Midlands Air Ambulance,

00:28fantastic, because to be honest with you, in our opinion it goes straight to source,

00:33so they get the money, it doesn't get handled by anybody else, plus the fact without the air

00:39ambulance, well you get stuck on a side of a mountain with a broken leg, you ain't going

00:43nowhere, no absolutely, so people behind me, they all said right we can give you this, so

00:49like the Fashions Factory and Dean and Sarah, they all said Pandora ring, 100 quid, brilliant,

00:56I put something in from my company, picked up my meat box, yeah, and then just people started

01:01giving bottles of wine, whiskey, these lovely chocolate baskets, it's brilliant isn't it,

01:06how everybody kind of pulls in and puts together, so within six weeks of intense mugging, I mean

01:12collecting, yeah, we got the sum that you can see on the cheque, fantastic, it's a great amount as

01:16well, every single person who you can see here played a major part, brilliant, and Kay, you're

01:22from the Air Ambulance, how do you feel to receive this money, what's it mean to the Air Ambulance?

01:27I'm so so proud of Steve and all these guys that are standing here, it's absolutely amazing,

01:31I'm the fundraising executive for the West Midlands, we are your Air Ambulance at the

01:36heart of England, and every single penny goes towards saving lives, and we can't

01:40forget the generosity of you guys, so a massive massive thank you.
