00:24Culture, Picasso all'Ostraniero, an unmissable show in Rome with the support of Biber Bacca.
00:29Università All'Inc, Bruno Vespa, the opening of the academic year 2025-2026.
00:37An opportunity to compare between institutions, experts and investors on the future of hospitality and the tourist development of Puglia.
00:44Positive balance for the second edition of Apulia Tourism Investment,
00:48initiative organized in the field of BTM, main appointment dedicated to tourism in southern Italy.
00:54The main goal is to strengthen the role of Puglia as a target of excellence of international tourism
00:59and to attract investments in a sector in strong expansion.
01:03Puglia grows more than double the figure, it grows internationally by more than 20%.
01:09The second important issue, as we are saying in more shots in these days,
01:14will be to reason on governance, on the organization of territories,
01:17because it is still important to consolidate our tourist products,
01:20to organize services and to make emerge new challenges of the future,
01:26that think and look at sustainability, look at climate change,
01:31look at different issues that are central in tourism policies in this moment.
01:37It is clear that Puglia, in this moment, has the great capacity,
01:41given its attractiveness, given the brand reputation of these years,
01:45to continue to attract investments and, above all, to continue to attract resources and professionalism
01:51that, even in the field of tourism, can make us a great step forward.
01:57With the deepening of public policies and opportunities for the private sector,
02:01Apulia Tourism Investment proposes itself as a moment of dialogue to track the road
02:06towards an ever more integrated, sustainable and innovative future for regional tourism,
02:10while Puglia continues to attract investors.
02:13Today we are talking about investments.
02:15The tourism phenomenon is not only a social and cultural phenomenon,
02:19it is also a maximum economic phenomenon.
02:21In fact, our advisor is also called the advisor of the tourism industry.
02:24This emphasis, this economic push is valued today with an important convention
02:30in which we talk about investments and investment attraction,
02:33the attraction of skills, the attraction of resources that often come from abroad.
02:38We are living a very important season in which we are able to intercept,
02:42also thanks to the intuition of ten years ago of President Emiliano,
02:47many investors who come from abroad and who are supported by the region of Puglia,
02:53which is a careful and very effective use of community resources.
02:57This series of initiatives, which are now historical for us,
03:02allow all actors, especially foreign investors, investment funds and large chains,
03:09to find in our territory a very fertile space to bring innovation,
03:16to bring what is positive in other countries.
03:20So today we also show, thanks to the attention and a very intelligent,
03:25very clear and transparent relationship with the private sector,
03:28that this is our initiative, an initiative especially in support of companies,
03:33not only from abroad, but also especially local.
03:38The second edition of the Zero Corruption Forum convention,
03:41organized by BIAC and Autostrade per l'Italia, was held in Rome at the Maxi.
03:46The initiative, born to promote the adoption of principles of integrity
03:49and to draw attention to the importance of the Zero Corruption objective,
03:53offered an important opportunity to develop innovative solutions
03:57and consolidate inter-institutional collaboration.
04:00This event is based on the OX manifesto,
04:05which promotes the Zero Corruption objective as the 18th sustainable development objective
04:11and defines the 10 actions to build a business ecosystem
04:17that is more responsible, resilient and competitive,
04:21also thanks to the help of artificial intelligence.
04:24In this moment in which, unfortunately,
04:27even the United States is taking a step back on the prevention of corruption,
04:31it is important today to strengthen, not to lower the guard and work,
04:35because investing in the prevention of corruption is convenient, it creates growth
04:40and therefore more than ever today Europe has and must take global leadership to do this.
04:47Bringing to the same table institutions, civil society, business and international organizations
04:53represents a fundamental moment of confrontation
04:56to address a global and transversal problem such as corruption,
05:01whose resolution allows us to ensure a sustainable future for future generations.
05:08From February 27 to June 29, Palazzo Cipolla in Rome will host the Picasso all'Ostraniero exhibition,
05:14a unique exhibition that proposes a new interpretation of the Spanish artist
05:18through his relationship with France, a country that welcomed him but never granted him citizenship.
05:23The initiative, organized by the Roma Foundation with Marsilio Arte
05:26and carried out thanks to the support of the Sponsor Bipper Banca,
05:29represents the second Italian stage of the project, after the editions of Milan and Mantua.
05:34The exhibition collects over 100 works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, ceramics and unpublished documents,
05:39offering an in-depth look at Picasso, man and artist.
05:43Bipper Banca confirms its role as a promoter of culture,
05:46supporting the initiative as a main sponsor.
05:49This exhibition is a valuable asset of the Institute for the Promotion of Art and Culture in the Territories,
05:54in favor of the communities that live there.
05:56Art and culture need us, but we need culture a lot,
06:00so the support is mutual in the expression of what is a valuable world.
06:07In this case, Bipper promotes art and culture as a moment of meeting with the communities,
06:11a moment of reflection for the communities in which we live,
06:15and of restoring those values that are part of our identity,
06:18as in this case Picasso, a well-known artist,
06:22but this exhibition in particular proposes not only Picasso as an artist, painter, but Picasso as a man,
06:28therefore with a story of great importance, of great reflection on those values that are inclusion,
06:33that are the search for an identity that are fundamental to us.
06:36The exhibition project was born from an idea of the historian Ennick Cohen-Solal,
06:40author of the book Picasso, a life as a foreigner,
06:43which has analyzed the path of the Spanish master, highlighting the difficulties faced in France.
06:48Despite international recognition, Picasso never obtained French citizenship
06:52and was often the subject of discrimination and bureaucratic obstacles.
06:55The exhibition follows the aesthetic and political trajectory of Picasso,
06:59illustrating how the artist has built his identity living in the difficult condition of an immigrant,
07:04revealing less known aspects of his life and his impact on the history of modern art.
07:09This exhibition wants to tell that behind the myth of Picasso,
07:13there is a man who moves in a French society,
07:17which was xenophobic from 1900 to 1945,
07:24and that behind the artist there is a man who becomes vulnerable among the police
07:30and is rejected by the Academy of Fine Arts.
07:33And despite this, he sails, he always works, always, always,
07:38it is his only religion and he finds the right strategies to be the winner of everything.
07:45Picasso the Foreigner at the Museo del Corso, Polo Museale,
07:48is the fifth edition of the exhibition, which in the last four years
07:51has moved from Paris to New York, from Mantua to Milan.
07:54Picasso the Foreigner is a journey into the history and identity of one of the greatest artists of the 20th century,
07:59offering the public a unique opportunity to rediscover Picasso's genius
08:03through an unprecedented and contemporary point of view.
08:09Radio journalist for RAI already in 1962,
08:13iconic face of television journalism for generations of Italians,
08:17Bruno Vespa is also an appreciated wise man,
08:19author of dozens of volumes,
08:21mostly dedicated to the history of the 20th century,
08:23to the analysis of political and social current affairs.
08:26The University of StudiLink in Rome,
08:28which continues in its work of evolution and academic scientific expansion,
08:32inaugurating the headquarters of Città di Castello,
08:34which together with that of Rome and that of Naples constitute the main headquarters,
08:38chose the famous journalist
08:40on the occasion of the opening of the academic year 2024-2025
08:44to give a lecture entitled
08:47The delirium of dictators and the history that returns.
08:50We started from Mussolini and Hitler,
08:52who at a certain point lost the sense of reality,
08:57dragging Italy, Europe and the world into a devastating war,
09:03and we arrived at Putin,
09:05who with the same logic with which Hitler began to occupy Eastern Europe,
09:11has occupied Ukraine and does not want to restore it.
09:14It was a great honor for me, it was a great experience.
09:17I came here many years ago,
09:19when it was so big and so important,
09:22a friend of Franco Prattini,
09:24to whom I have dedicated the degree,
09:26so it was a great opportunity.
09:28Choosing Bruno Vespa,
09:29explains the magnificent director of the University of StudiLink,
09:31Carlo Alberto Giusti,
09:33was not a coincidence.
09:34As I said in my introduction, in my audacity,
09:38it is the first time that a journalist,
09:40with his lecture Magistralis,
09:43opens an academic year.
09:45We did it because in our university,
09:49as in many Italian universities,
09:51you feel very strong the mission of the university,
09:54that is to expand more and more the dialogue between populations.
09:58The university remains the place dedicated to dialogue,
10:03to invite Bruno Vespa, the Italian journalist par excellence,
10:07the one who, with his 60-year chronicles,
10:09tells Italy,
10:11has provided our scientific and academic community
10:15with a very important point of view.
10:17We are very happy about it,
10:19and certainly at the end of the prologue,
10:21all the richer with real and concrete information,
10:24which we will certainly continue to discuss
10:26within our Athenaeum.
