00:09An apparent suicide bomber set off an explosive device that killed 22 people at the end of
00:14an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester late last night, police have said. Dozens more
00:20were injured in the blast carried out by a man who also died.
00:24Forensic investigations are continuing to determine if the attacker had accomplices.
00:29Police said they were treating the blast as an act of terrorism and that at least 59
00:34injured were taken to hospitals.
00:37The Philippines' flagship carrier is cancelling flights between Abu Dhabi and Manila. The
00:42move by Philippine Airlines will affect a number of Filipino passengers who may have
00:46already made early bookings. The airline announced recently that the temporary suspension of
00:51service on the UAE route will take effect on July 8.
00:55A tearful rebel Wilson testified that a series of magazine articles published in Australia
01:01were a deliberate attack and damaged her acting career. Wilson is suing Australian publisher
01:07Bauer Media for defamation over several articles published in 2015. The article said Wilson
01:13had lied about her name, age and upbringing in Australia and led to her film contracts
01:19being terminated, she claimed.
01:21And finally, the weather. Today's high across the UAE will be 42 degrees Celsius, dropping
