00:09Motorists in Abu Dhabi will now pay a reduced fine of 300 dirhams down from 600 dirhams
00:15if caught driving above designated speed limits.
00:19The halved fine and the removal of the 20-km speed limit buffer are part of changes brought
00:24about by the Department of Transport and the Abu Dhabi Police.
00:29The decision to remove the buffer was largely welcomed by motorists.

00:41Naipaul, the Trinidad-born Nobel laureate whose lyrical prose and misanthropic personality

01:09Amidst public outcry, the cast of Insatiable have defended their new television show against
01:15accusations of fat shaming.
01:18The Netflix series, which dropped on Friday, is about an obese high schooler Patty the
01:23Fatty who suddenly loses weight, gains popularity and sets out for payback.
01:28An online petition ahead of its release had called for the show to be cancelled.
01:33It claimed the series appeared to promote the narrative that women had to be thin in
01:38order to be successful and happy, and that the show would encourage eating disorders.
