00:00A very good evening Sadlers, fans of Inside and The Best Got where Walsall have just fought from two goals behind to claim a 2-2 draw against Salford City.
00:13It was super sub Danny Johnson who was the hero with two late goals to bag his brace on what really felt like a real big point for Walsall.
00:26The manner in which they earned it did feel like a win. It stopped the rot after back-to-back defeats.
00:34A fantastic performance from Walsall in those closing stages to earn the point.
00:42Matt Sadler made two changes from the 2-0 defeat against Fleetwood Town on Tuesday night.
00:49With Charlie Lakin coming into midfield and Osher Mckenty dropping to the bench.
00:55Up front Josh Gordon came in for his first start since the 31st of August.
01:02Albert Adoma dropping to the bench for him but Walsall made the worst possible start.
01:08Hakeem Adelekan broke down the right-hand side, crossed low for Stockton.
01:15Walsall responded well to falling behind. Ethan Wheatley struck the post with a side-footed finish.
01:25Taylor Allen sent a half-volley whistling wide of the near post.
01:29He then stung the palms of Jamie Jones between the sticks with a powerful free kick.
01:34Walsall did trail at the break. It's the first time they've been behind at the break at The Best Got in the league this season.
01:42The momentum was very much with the Sadlers after the break.
01:47Matt Sadler brought on Levi Mantew for his first appearance for the club, made his debut.
01:54He impressed with a great burst of pace to break him behind but his finish was straight at Jones.
02:00Salford caught Walsall on the counter attack. There were claims for offside as Adelekan was slid through by Matty Lund.
02:10But he confidently put his finish beyond the reach of Tommy Simpkin.
02:14It looked then that Salford had put the game to bed but Walsall hit straight back.
02:19Matt Sadler had made a change just shortly before Salford's second goal.
02:23A triple change actually with the introductions of Evan Weir, Danny Johnson and Albert Adoma.
02:32Taylor Allen stepped up into midfield as Weir went into the left centre-back slot.
02:39And the comeback was on Danny Johnson at the back post after Weir had crossed into the box, cushioned the ball down and tapped home.
02:48And then the equaliser came three minutes from time. Jamie Jellis' corner punched into the air.
02:55It looked as if it was Amanci who got the first contact to the ball, cushioned the ball down and Danny Johnson was there to nod home at the back post.
03:03Seven minutes by the time, Walsall couldn't quite find that winner.
03:06But a great atmosphere at the best got there and it felt like a very, very big point.
