00:00about mid-season in terms of how far League One has gone this campaign. Wrexham of course
00:08having another great year, it just keeps on getting better doesn't it for the Welsh team
00:13under their Hollywood owners, from the National League into League Two and they're now competing
00:19right at the very top end of League One. Of course Birmingham City with all the money they've spent
00:23they sit top and then you've got Wickham right next to Wrexham in second and third so it's been
00:29really good for them under Phil Parkinson of course who's doing a really good job. Yes they've
00:34had backing, we all know that, but to get back-to-back promotions and then be challenging
00:38for a third in a row is quite something to be honest. To get into the championship
00:44would be remarkable for them and so looking at this season obviously I've just sort of summarised
00:50roughly that it's been very good but in perhaps a little bit more detail just how good has it
00:54been for them and how much better also can it get in the second half of the campaign?
01:00Yeah of course it's a massive sort of step up for Phil Parkinson's side, they're
01:06certainly up to the task. I mean third in League One at the moment after 25 games is a sort of
01:12dream start. I mean if they aren't to get automatic promotion I'm certain they will be
01:16you know playoff contenders, playoff bound and if you look outside of them they are probably
01:22the strongest side who aren't you know Wickham, Wunderers and Birmingham City. So it's a great
01:27place to be in League One at the moment, it's fantastic for Wrexham and the club and the
01:32journey they go on as you say. I mean you know already beating a 50-point mark in League One
01:38is an achievement itself and Phil Parkinson obviously we mentioned a week ago or a couple
01:43of weeks ago achieved his thousandth game in management which you know shows they've got
01:48a fantastic feather in the cap with him in charge as well. So you know you keep him if they
01:53do go up to the championship and they keep him and they've got to be happy with the progress
01:58he's making and back him to do well in the championship as well. I mean looking at them
02:03across the season so far they've been fantastic at scoring goals, they've scored plenty of them.
02:10I mean some key players Owen O'Connell, Arthur Okongo, Max Clearworth, I mean they've just been
02:16fantastic as a whole. You know there hasn't been an out-and-outs you know player really
02:23across the half of the season so far but they are going to certainly make waves and you know
02:28continue to impress. You look in a couple of weeks time they played Birmingham, obviously lost
02:33early on in the season at St Andrews 3-1. If Wrexham can get a win or a draw against Birmingham
02:40at home then a lot of things change and you know they've won 15 games so far, Birmingham's 16.
02:47They are very, very closer than you think especially with Birmingham's
02:50huge summer investment. So yeah fantastic to look on and an amazing
02:54second half of the season is certainly lined up for Phil Parkinson's side.
