Lawmaker concerned over PhilHealth 'stable' claim
Agri Partylist Rep. Wilbert Lee,, during a press briefing on Jan. 10, 2024 in Quezon City, believes that the expansion of benefits by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) is not enough as it has to resolve its issues regarding the use of its funds and co-paying the medical bills of its members. Lee was reacting to the state health insurer's assurance that its funds would remain stable amid the introduction of new and expanded packages, including a 50 percent increase adjustment in its case rates.

12 years hindi nila na-adjust.
Lalo na according to WTW, Global Medical Trends Survey, this year tataas ng 18.3% yung healthcare costs dito sa atin.
05:52Sa 12 years, 120% ang in-increase niyan. More than 10% ang tinataas every year.
06:22Thank you for watching!
